ECO indicator (if equipped)ECO ON/OFF mode (if equipped)
The ECO indicator light helps that you to
drive economically.
It is displayed if you drive fuel efficiently
to help you improve fuel efficiency.
 The ECO indicator (green) will turn on when you are driving fuel efficiently in
the ECO ON mode.
If you don't want the indicator dis-
played, you can turn the ECO ON
mode to OFF mode by pressing the
TRIP button.
As per ECO ON/OFF Mode operation,
refer to the previous page. (if equipped)
 The fuel-efficiency can be changed by the driver's driving habits and road
conditions.
 The ECO indicator does not funtion in P (Park), and N (Neutral), R (Reverse).
 When the instant fuel consumption mode is displayed on the LCD screen,
the ECO indicator turns off (if
equipped). Active ECO system (if equipped)
When the active ECO is operating the
ECO indicator is green.
For more detailed information, refer to
“Active ECO” in chapter 5.
Air bag warning lightThis warning light will illuminate for
approximately 6 seconds each time you
turn the ignition switch to the ON posi-
tion.
This light also comes on when the
Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) is
not working properly. If the SRS air bag
warning light does not come on, or
continuously remains on after operating
for about 6 seconds when you turned the
ignition switch to the ON position or start-
ed the engine, or if it comes on while
driving, have the SRS inspected by an
authorized HYUNDAI dealer.

WARNING
Don't keep watching the indicator
while driving. It will distract you
while driving and cause an acci-
dent that results in severe personal
injury.

4Automatic Transaxle shift
indicatorThe indicator displays which automatic
transaxle shift position is selected.Manual transaxle shift indicator (if equipped)This indicator informs you which gear is
desired while driving to save fuel.
For example
: Indicates that shifting up to the 3rdgear is desired (currently the shift
lever is in the 2nd gear).
: Indicates that shifting down to the 3rd gear is desired (currently the
shift lever is in the 4th gear).✽ ✽ NOTICEWhen the system is not working proper-
ly, up & down arrow indicator and Gear
are not displayed.
Charging system warning
lightThis warning light indicates a malfunction
of either the generator or electrical
charging system.
If the warning light comes on while the
vehicle is in motion:
1. Drive to the nearest safe location.
2. With the engine off, check the genera- tor drive belt for looseness or break-
age.
3. If the belt is adjusted properly, a prob- lem exists somewhere in the electrical
charging system. Have an authorized
HYUNDAI dealer correct the problem
as soon as possible.Front fog light indicator (if equipped) This light comes on when the front fog
lights are ON.
Trunk lid open warninglightThis warning light illuminates when the
trunk lid is not closed securely with the
ignition in any position.Door open position indica-
tor This indicator illuminates when a door is
not closed securely.
The indicator displays which door is
opened.

Digital clock (if equipped)Whenever the battery terminals or relat-
ed fuses are disconnected, you must
reset the time.
When the ignition switch is in the ACC or
ON position, the clock buttons operate as
follows:
Hour (1)Pressing the H button with your finger, a
pencil or similar object will advance the
time displayed by one hour.Minute (2)Pressing the M button with your finger, a
pencil or similar object will advance the
time displayed by one minute.Display conversionTo change the 12 hour format to the 24
hour format, press the “H” and “M” but-
tons at the same time for more than 3
seconds.
For example, if the “H” and “M” buttons
are pressed for more than 3 seconds
while the time is 10:15 p.m., the display
will be changed to 22:15.
❈For the type of the clock built in the
audio or navigation, refer to a separately supplied manual.
Clothes hanger (if equipped)To use the hanger, pull down the upper
portion of hanger.

for broadcast frequencies.
 CD, USB, iPod, My Music modes : - Shortly press the key (under 0.8 sec-onds): Moves to next or previous
song(file)
- Press and hold the key (over 0.8 sec- onds): Rewinds or fast-forwards the
current song(file)
6. PWR/VOL knob
 Power Knob: Turns power On/Off by pressing the knob
 Volume Knob: Sets volume by turn- ing the knob left/right
7. ~ (Preset)
 Radio Mode: Saves frequencies (chan- nels) or receives saved frequencies
(channels)
 CD, USB, iPod, My Music mode - : Repeat
- : Random
 In the Radio, Media, Setup, and Menu pop up screen, the number menu is
selected.
