Luggage compartment storage space and fittings
Always position the heavi -
est items directly on the
floor. If the vehicle is
equipped with anchorage
points on the luggage compart -
ment floor, use them. The luggage
should be loaded in such a way that
no items will be thrown forward and
strike the occupants if the driver has
to brake suddenly. Fasten the rear
seat belts, even if the seats are not
occupied.
Anchorage points
Anchorage points 1 located on each
corner of the luggage compartment
allow loads to be secured.
Always place objects being trans -
ported so that the heaviest items
are resting against the back of the
rear bench seat.

Luggage net
Fitting the luggage net
behind the second row rear
seats
Inside the vehicle on each side:
– lower cover 2 to gain access to the
anchoring points for the top part of
the luggage net;
– insert the top rod of net 4 into the an-
choring points;
– attach the two hooks 6 of the straps 5
from the net onto the anchoring
points 3;
– adjust the net strap 5 so that it is taut.
TRANSPORTING OBJECTS Luggage net
If fitted, this can be used when trans -
porting animals or luggage to isolate
them from the passenger section.
It is fitted behind the second row bench
seat or behind the driver and passen -
ger seats.

The luggage net must not
be used to restrain or hold
objects.

Fitting the luggage net
behind the front seats
Inside the vehicle on each side:
– lower cover 1 to gain access to the
anchoring points for the top part of
the luggage net;
– insert the top rod of net 7 into the an-
choring points;
– attach the two hooks 9 of the straps 8
from the net onto the anchoring
points 10;
– adjust the net strap 8 so that it is taut.
