Dynamic stabilitycontrol

flashing. The ESP/ASR regulation is active. The system optimises traction and improves the
directional stability of the vehicle.

fixed. Unless it has been deactivated (button
pressed and its indicator lamp on),
the ESP/ASR or hill start assist
system has a fault. Have it checked b
y a CITROËN dealer or a qualified
workshop.
Engine
autodiagnosissystem

flashing. The engine management system has
a fault. Risk of destruction of the catal
ytic converter.
Have it checked b
y a CITROËN dealer or a qualified
workshop.

fixed. The emission control system has a fault. The warning lamp should go off when the engine is started.
If it does not go off, contact a CITROËN dealer or qualified
workshop without delay.



Low fuel levelfixed, accompanied by and audible signal anda message.Wh
en it first comes on there remainsapproximately 6 litresof fuel in the
tank.
At this point, you begin to use the fuel reserve.Re
fuel as soon as possible to avoid running out of fuel.Until sufficient fuel is added, this warning lamp willcome on every time the ignition is switched on,
accompanied by an audible signal and a message.
This audible signal and message are repeated with
increasing frequency as the fuel level drops towards "0".Fuel tank capacity: approximately 60 litres.Never continue to drive until you run out of fuel,
as this could damage the emission control and
injection systems.

A few seconds after the ignition is switched
on, the distance recorder resumes its normal
operation.
The spanner remains on.
The distance remaining may be weighted by the time factor, depending on the type of driving.
Therefore, the spanner may also comeon if you have exceeded the two year service interval.
Service indicator zero reset

After each ser vice, the ser vice indicator mustbe reset to zero.
The procedure for resetting to zero is as
follows: ) switch off the ignition,)
press and hold the ".../000"
trip distance
recorder zero reset button, ) switch on the ignition; the distance recorder
display begins a countdown,
) when the screen indicates "=/0"and thespanner disappears, release the button.

This operation cannot be carried out while a reminder of the ser vicing information is being displayed.
Following this operation, if you wish todisconnect the battery, lock the vehicleand wait at least five minutes for thezero reset to be registered.


Recalling the service information

You can recall the ser vice information at anytime. )Briefly press the ".../000"
trip distance recorder zero reset button.
The ser vice information is displayed for afew seconds, in the total distance recorder
line or in the type 2 instrument panel central screen.
Service overdue
For a few seconds after the ignition is switched on,
the spanner flashes
to indicate that the servicemust be carried out as soon as possible. Example:
the ser vice is overdue by 180 miles(300 km).
For a few seconds after the ignition is switched on,
the screen indicates:

The total and trip distances are displayed for
thirty seconds when the ignition is switchedoff, when the driver's door is opened and when
the vehicle is locked or unlocked.

Switching the system off
)
Turn the air flow control tothe left until all of the indicator
lamps go off.

This switch does not operate the air conditioning, only the air fan. When the "REST" function is activated, you cannot modify the temperature, air flowand distribution settings: these are controlled automatically according to the ambienttemperature.This function is not available in the STOP mode of Stop & Star t.

Avoid prolonged operation in interior air recirculation mode or driving for long periods with the system off (risk of condensation and deterioration of air quality). On switchin
g on the engine

- The control screens come on: the function
is available.

- Pressing the RESTbutton activates the
ventilation for a few minutes. Activation of
the function is confirmed by the display of
two dashes in the control screens and four air flow level indicator lamps.

- The function can be deactivated and reactivated if the control screens are on.

- The screens go off at the end of this period. On stoppin
g the engine- While the control screens remain on: the
function is available.
- Pressing the REST
button activates theventilation for a few minutes. Activation of
the function is confirmed by the display of
two dashes in the control screens and four
air flow level indicator lamps.
Locking the vehicle has no effect on this
function.
- The control screens go off at the end of
this period.
Pressin
g again before the end of the period
interrupts off the ventilation definitively: the control screens go off and the function is
no longer available. This action switches off the air conditionin
g and
the ventilation.
Temperature related comfor t is no longer
assured but a slight flow of air, due to the
movement of the vehicle, can still be felt. ) Modify the settings (temperature, air flow or
air distribution) or press the "AUTO"
button
to reactivate the system with the values set before it was switched off.

Rear head restraints

Never drive with the head restraints removed; they must be in place and correctly adjusted.

As a safety precaution, these operations should only be carried outwhile the vehicle is stationary.

Mirrors

Each fitted with an adjustable mirror glass permitting the lateral rear ward vision necessary for overtaking or parking. They can also be
folded for parking in confined spaces.

Door mirrors

If the mirrors are folded using control A , they will not unfold when the vehicle is unlocked. Pull again on control A.

The folding and unfolding of the door mirrors using the remote control can be deactivated by a CITROËN dealer or a qualified workshop.
Never fold or unfold the electric folding mirrors manually.

f your vehicle is fitted with heated
mirrors, the demisting-defrostingoperates by switching on the heatedrear screen (refer to the "Rear screen
demist-defrost" page).
The rear screen demist - defrost can onl
yoperate when the engine is running.

Remote control key System which permits central unlocking or locking of the vehicle using the door lock or from a distance. It is also used to locate and star t the vehicle, as well as providing protection against theft.
