TRIP COMPUTER
This gauge informs you of the temperature of the oil in your engine.
OIL TEMPERATURE (NAVIDRIVE COLOUR DISPLAY)
If the temperature is too high, the gauge indicates the maximum level and the last, red bar fl ashes.
Contact a CITRO
ÀN dealer or a qualifi ed workshop.
This
gauge informs you of the temperature of the coolant fl uid in your engine.
If the temperature is excessive, the
gauge indicates a maximum level, the "STOP"warning lamp comes
on in the instrument panel as well as on the Head-Up display.
Stop as soon as it is safe to do so and contact a CITROËN dealer or a qualifi ed workshop.p

Air fi lter
Follow the requirements set out in the Maintenance and Warranty Guide.

Screen wash and
headlamp wash fl uid
Use CITROËN-approved products wherever possible.
Capacity: See "Capacity".
Engine coolant
The fl uid level should be between the marks MIN.and
MAX. on the header tank.
Engine hot, wait at least
15 minutes.

Never do anything relating to
the cooling system of an engine
that is hot.
Poles "+" and "-" for
starting with a slave battery

Engine oil
Check the engine oil level
on horizontal ground withthe engine having beenswitched off for at least30 minutes.
It is normal to top up the engine oilbetween two services. The manu-
facturer recommends that the oil bechecked and topped up if necessaryevery 3 000 miles (5 000 Km).

If opening the bonnet when the engine is hot, even if it is stopped and the ignition is switched off, remember thatthe cooling fan may operate at any moment.
Between routine servicing visits, check the level of engine oil frequently as well as before going on a longjourney.

TOPPING UP ENGINE OIL
Before fi lling, pull out the dipstick.
Check the dipstick after fi lling.
It must never exceed the maxi-
mum.
Screw the cap back on and close
the bonnet.

RADIATOR – COOLANT FLUID
Checking the level and topping up
with fl uid must always be done with
the engine cold.
Engine hot
Wait 15 minutes or for the tempe-
rature to be lower than 100 °C and
then carefully unscrew the cap so as
to allow the pressure to drop, pro-
tectin
g yourself with, for example, a cloth.
Topping up the coolant
The level of coolant1 should bebetween theMIN. andMAX. mark-ings on the header tank.
Top up the level. If more than 1 litre
is added, have the cooling systemchecked by a CITROËN dealer or ,gy
a qualifi ed workshop.
Make sure that the cap is back
on properly.Note:If you need to top up the fl uid frequently, this indicates a malfunc-tion which you should get checked
at the earliest opportunity.
Note:The cooling fan may oper-ate for around 10 minutes after theengine has stopped.
