Head-up display
This device projects a range of impor-tant information into the driver's fi eld of vision. In this way, the driver does notneed to take his eyes off the road.
Speed limiter
This driving assistance device allowsyou to select a maximum speed thatyou do not wish to exceed.
Cruise control
This system allows you to automaticallymaintain the vehicle speed at the valueprogrammed by the driver, without theneed to press the accelerator.
The automatic gearbox
This device provides you with optimum driving conditions by combining a fully automatic mode, along with two spe-cifi c programmes, as well as a manual mode.
Audio and communication systems
This equipment utilises the latesttechnology.
Electric parking brake
The electric parking brake combines automatic locking when the engineis stopped, and automatic unlocking when accelerating (devices activatedby default).Note: Manual locking/unlocking is possible.
Automatic air conditioning
This air conditioning system ensures comfort and a suffi -cient circulation of air in the cabin.

NIGHT DRIVINGA fi rst presson the DARK button puts the display on standby. Only the
time and the temperature remain displayed.
A second
pressswitches off the display and the instrument panel,except for information concerning:The speed indicator.The automatic gearbox.Cruise control/Speed limiter if this has been activated.Note:
Temporary lighting of the display for modifi cation of audio-CD adjust-ments and air conditioning.
The display lights up if any of the other buttons on the display is pressed. To revert to night driving, press just once on button DARK.KKAll the displays come on if there is an alert.
A third press returns you to normal lighting.

DASHBOARD BRIGHTNESS
With lamps switched on, press onbutton Cor Dto alter the intensityof the dashboard lighting.
In the "Main menu", you have a"Confi guration" menu, in which youcan adjust the display brightness.See "Display" and the NaviDrivechapter.
For enhanced visual comfort, youcan also adjust the orientation of
the NaviDrive display by pressingbuttonsA and B.

As the vehicle approaches the
obstacle, the sound signal becomesmore and more urgent and theshaded areas are displayed closer and closer to the vehicle. Proximit
y sensors are located in the front and rear bumpersof your vehicle.
When manœuvringin either forward or reverse gear, at a low speed less
than approx. 10 km/h (6 mph), they inform you of the presence of any
obstacle that is within their zone of detection by:A sound signal emitted by the front or rear loudspeakers.
Display of the outline of your vehicle with shading corresponding to thearea where an obstacle is detected.
As the vehicle approaches the obstacle, the sound signal tells you the posi-
tion of the obstacle according to whether the sound is coming from the front LH or RH or the rear LH or RH loudspeakers.
Note:The sound volume of your audio equipment reduces automatically when a signal is being emitted.

To open the glovebox, pull on thehandle and lower the lid.
The glovebox has three sock-ets Afor connecting audio/videoequipment.
Changing the bulb
To change the bulb in the gloveboxlamp, detach the cover B, use aW 5 W bulb.
CUP-HOLDERS
To deploy the cup-holders, press on button C.
DRIVER'S ODDMENTS TRAY
To open the driver's oddments tray,pull the handle towards you.
While the vehicle is moving:The glovebox should remain closed.
The cup-holders should remain stowed.

FRONT ARMREST
The armrest gives you extra com-
fort in your driving position.
To optimise
your driving position,lift the control B and push the arm-rest forwards.
Th
e armrest returns to its initialposition when you push it rear-
wards.
Storage areas
Two formatsof storage are avail-able:To have bigstorage in the
armrest, lift the controlC.For smallstorage in the
armrest, lift the controlA.

Ventilation of the bigstorage in the front armrest
The armrest has aventilation
duct for the big storage.
This benefi ts from the air condi-
tioning at a temperature identical
to the setting for the front of the cabin area. To adjust the air condi-
tioning fl ow, see "Rear automatic
air conditioning".
The ventilation duct canbe blocked manually.
INTERIOR COMFORT
USB SOCKET
This connection unit, consisting of
a JACK plug and/or a USB port,
is located in the front armrest.
You can connect portable equipmentsuch as an iPod®or a USB key.®
It reads audio fi le formats (mp3,
ogg, wma, wav, etc.) that it trans-mits to your audio system and areheard through the vehicle's loud-speakers.
Yo u can control these fi les with
the audio system’s steering wheel
or dashboard controls and displaythem on the multifunction screen.
Portable equipment can be rechargedwhile it is being used.
