frontairbagsaredesignedtoprovidead

Becauseairbagsinflateintheblinkofaneye
withgreatforce,thingsyou have onyourlap

gerousprojectiles,andbepushedintoyou if
theairbaginflates.
Whenanairbagdeploys, finedustisreleased.
Thisisnormalandisnotcausedbyafirein
thevehicle.Thisdustismadeupmostlyofa
powderusedtolubricatetheairbagsasthey
deploy.Itcouldirritateskin.
Itisimportanttorememberthatwhilethe
supplementalairbagsystemisdesignedtore
ducethelikelihoodofseriousinjuries,other
injuries, forexampleswelling, bruisingand
minorabrasions,canalsohappenwhenair
bagsinflate.Airbagsdonotprotectthearms
orthelowerpartsofthebody.Frontairbags
onlysupplementthethreepointsafetybelts
insomefrontalcollisionsinwhichthevehicle
decelerationishighenoughtodeploytheair
bags.

ESPhaslimitations.Itisimportanttoremem
