needing to ‘train’ the system, phone
book entries can be retrieved, a
radio station selected or the navi -

Electronic logbook1
The optional electronic logbook
enables automatic recording of
mileage, route distance, date and
time, starting point and
destina -
tion as part of every journey. Once
you have downloaded the logbooks
from the PCM via Bluetooth®
or the optional USB interface, you
can evaluate the data on your
home PC using the software
supplied.

Universal audio interface
For vehicles with PCM, the storage
compartment in the centre console
will contain three connections: one for an iPod
®, one for a USB stick/
MP3-player and one as an AUX
interface for any chosen compatible
audio source. The iPod
® or USB
stick can be operated conveniently
and safely via PCM, the multi -
function steering wheel or the voice
control system.
For vehicles with the CDR-30 audio
system, the centre console storage
compartment will contain an AUX
interface for connecting a compatible
audio source. The volume is
adjusted using the controls on
the CDR-30 audio system, other
functions are operated using the
controls on the external audio
source itself.

PCM’s integral SIM card reader,

To enable a Bluetooth® connection
for those mobile phones that only
support the Handsfree Profile
(HFP)

facility is available. With HFP, the
PCM acts
merely as a hands-free system and can be used to control
only the basic functions of the
phone. The GSM connection is
established through the aerial of
the mobile phone.
