EXTERIOR LIGHTS
FAULT (amber)
(for versions/markets,
where provided)
The warning light will switch on, on
some versions, when a fault with
one of the following lights is
detected:
– side lights
– brake lights
– rear fog lights
– direction indicators
– number plate lights.
The fault relating to these lights
could be: one or more blown bulbs,
a blown protection fuse or a break
in the electrical connection.
On some versions, the display shows
a dedicated message.The presence of water in
the fuel supply circuit
may cause severe
damage to the injection system
and irregular engine operation.
If the
cwarning light switches
on (on some versions together
with the message on the
display), contact a Fiat
Dealership as soon as possible
to have the system bled. If this
problem is indicated
immediately after refueling,
water may have entered the fuel
tank. In this case, stop the
engine immediately and contact
a Fiat Dealership.

WATER IN DIESEL
FILTER (amber)
When the key is turned to MAR, the
warning light switches on but should
switch off after a few seconds.
The cwarning light switches on
when there is water in the diesel
filter.
On some versions, the display shows
a dedicated message.

E-LOCKER SYSTEM
(Front differential
locking)
(for versions/markets,
where provided)
The warning light switches on (on
some versions together with a
dedicated message on the display) as
follows:
– flashing when the system is
activated;
– flashing more rapidly to indicate
that the speed of the vehicle is
approaching 20 km/h;
– constantly if there is a fault with
the system.RIGHT DIRECTION
INDICATOR (green -
intermittent)
The warning light switches on when
the direction indicator control stalk
is moved upwards or, together with
the left indicator, when the hazard
warning light button is pressed.
LEFT DIRECTION
INDICATOR
(green - intermittent)
The warning light switches on when
the direction indicator control stalk
is moved downwards or, together
with the right indicator, when the
hazard warning light button is
pressed.

They only operate with ignition key
at MAR.
When a function is activated, the
appropriate warning light switches
on in the instrument panel.
To deactivate, press the button
again.

Rear fog lights
Switch A: to activate these lights, the
dipped headlights and/or front fog
lights must be switched on. The rear
fog lights are deactivated when the
ignition key is turned to STOP.
If they are required when the vehicle
is next started, they must be
reactivated.
Fog lights
Switch B: to activate these lights, the
external lights must be switched on
(not the main beam headlights). The
front fog lights are deactivated when
the ignition key is turned to STOP.
If they are required when the vehicle
is next started, they must be
reactivated.Driving lights
Switch C. To activate these lights,
the mean beam headlights must be
switched on. The driving lights are
deactivated when the ignition key is
turned to STOP.
If they are required when the vehicle
is next started, they must be
reactivated.

FRONT SIDE LIGHTS
To change the bulbs of the side
lights, proceed as follows:
Single-lens headlights
– remove the bulb holder assembly
A-fig. 127, turning it anticlockwise;
– remove the bulb from the bulb
holder;
– insert the new bulb then refit the
bulb holder assembly.Polyelliptical headlights
– remove cover B-fig. 123, turning it
anticlockwise;
– remove bulb holder assembly
A-fig. 128;
– remove the bulb from the bulb
holder;
– insert the new bulb, reinsert the
bulb holder assembly then close
the cover, rotating it clockwise.FRONT FOG LIGHTS
To replace the front fog light bulbs,
contact a Fiat Dealership.
SIDE INDICATORS
These are located in the door
mirrors fig. 129 and are LED type.
In the event of a failure, contact a
Fiat Dealership.

– disconnect the connector then
undo the screws A-fig. 136 to
access the bulbs to be replaced;
– remove the bulbs, pushing them
slightly and turning them
anticlockwise;
The bulbs fig. 136 are:
B - 12V-P21/5W for the brake lights
C - 12V-P21W for the reversing
lights
D - 12V-P21W for the direction
indicators
E - 12V-P21/5W for the side lights

The third brake light is LED type.

To replace the bulb:
1) undo the fixing screws A and
remove the lens.
2) remove the bulb holder, rotating
it slightly, and replace press-fitted
bulb B.
