For even air distribution, take care
not to obstruct the exterior air intake
grille located at the bottom of the wind-
screen, the vents, the air outlets under
the front seats and the air extractor lo-

Use of the automatic regulation of the
a i r c o n d i t i o n i n g i s r e c o m m e n d e d . I t
p e r m i t s a u t o m a t i c a n d o p t i m i s e d c o n -
trol of all of the following functions: air
fl o w , p a s s e n g e r c o m p a r t m e n t t e m p e r -
a t u r e a n d a i r d i s t r i b u t i o n , b y m e a n s
o f v a r i o u s s e n s o r s , s o p r e v e n t i n g t h e
n e e d f o r y o u t o c h a n g e y o u r r e f e r -
ence settings other than the value dis-
p l a y e d .
Air diffuser
T h e a i r d i f f u s e r g r i l l e , l o c a t e d a t t h e t o p
o f t h e c e n t r e c o n s o l e , s i g n i fi c a n t l y i m -
p r o v e s d i s t r i b u t i o n a n d fl o w s a n d p r e -
vents air currents, while maintaining an
o p t i m u m t e m p e r a t u r e i n s i d e t h e p a s -
s e n g e r c o m p a r t m e n t .
Do not cover the sunshine sensor

Advice on operation
To obtain even ventilation,
avoid closing the air diffuser
grille 9 .
In hot weather, in order to obtain in-
t e n s e v e n t i l a t i o n , y o u c a n c l o s e t h e
air diffuser grille and use vents 1 and
5 o n l y .
I f , w h e n t h e v e h i c l e h a s b e e n p a r k e d
in the sun for a long time, the interior
t e m p e r a t u r e r e m a i n s v e r y h i g h , d o n o t
h e s i t a t e t o v e n t i l a t e t h e p a s s e n g e r
c o m p a r t m e n t f o r a f e w m i n u t e s .

ALARM
For all work on the alarm system, con-
tact a PEUGEOT dealer.
- Exterior perimeter
The system checks for opening of the
vehicle.
The alarm is triggered if anyone tries
to open a door, the boot, the bonnet...
- Interior volumetric
The system checks for any variation in
the volume in the passenger compart-
ment.
The alarm is triggered if anyone breaks
a window, enters the passenger com-
partment or moves inside the vehicle.
Self-protection function
The system checks for the
putting out of service of its
components.
The alarm is triggered if the battery, the
central control or the wires of the siren
are put out of service or damaged. Locking the vehicle with full
alarm system
Activation
Switch off the ignition and get out
of the vehicle.
Press the locking button on the re-
mote control.
The monitoring system is active: the
i n d i c a t o r l a m p o n t h e b u t t o n fl a s h e s
once per second.
After the locking button on the remote
control is pressed, the exterior perime-
ter monitoring is activated after a delay
of 5 seconds and the interior volumet-
ric after a delay of 45 seconds.
If an opening (door, boot...) is not
closed fully, the vehicle is not locked
but the exterior perimeter monitor-
ing will be activated after a delay of
45 seconds at the same time as the
interior volumetric monitoring.
System which protects and provides a
deterrent against theft and break-ins.
It provides the following types of moni-
toring.
Deactivation
Press the unlocking button on the
remote control.
The alarm system is deactivated: the in-
dicator lamp on the button switches off.
Locking the vehicle with
exterior perimeter monitoring
only
Deactivate the interior volumetric pro-
tection to avoid unwanted triggering of
the alarm in certain cases such as:
- leaving a pet in the vehicle,
- leaving a window partially open,
- washing your vehicle,
- changing a wheel,
- having your vehicle towed,
- transport by sea.
Deactivation of the interior
volumetric monitoring
Switch off the ignition.
Within ten seconds, press the but-
ton until the indicator lamp is lit
continuously.
Get out of the vehicle.
Press the locking button on the re-
mote control immediately.
The exterior perimeter monitoring alone
is activated: the indicator lamp on the
b u t t o n fl a s h e s o n c e p e r s e c o n d .
To be effective, this deactivation must
be carried out each time the ignition is
switched off.

LIGHTING CONTROL STALK
Lighting on
With the ignition off, on opening the
driver's door an audible signal indi-
cates that you have left the lighting on
when leaving the vehicle.
Switch the lighting off. Direction indicators
Dipped/main beam change
Pull the stalk fully towards you. Front and rear foglamps (ring B)
Turn ring B forwards to switch on
and rearwards to switch off. The
