Once this menu has been selected, you can
activate or deactivate the following equipment:
- wiper linked with reverse gear (refer to the "Visibility" section),
- directional headlamps (refer to the "Visibility" section),
- "guide-me-home" lighting (refer to the "Visibility" section).
- rear parking sensors (see "Driving" section). Choice of language
Once this menu has been selected, you
can change the screen display language
(Deutsch, English, Espanol, Français,
Italiano, Nederlands, Portugues, Portugues-
Brasil, Türkçe * ).
"Telephone" menu
With the audio equipment switched on,
once this menu has been selected you
c a n c o n fi g u r e y o u r B l u e t o o t h h a n d s -
free system (pairing), consult the vari-
ous telephone directories (calls log,
services...) and manage your commu-
nications (pick up, hang up, call waiting,
secret mode...).
For further details concerning the "Tele-
phone" application, refer to the Peugeot
Connect Sound part of the "Audio and
Telematics" section.

The condensation created by the
air conditioning results in a dis-
charge of water under the vehicle
which is perfectly normal.
In order for these systems to be fully effective, follow the operation and main-
tenance guidelines below:
To obtain an even air distribution, take care not to obst ruct the exterior air
intake grilles located at the base of the windscreen, the n ozzles, the vents
and the air outlets, as well as the air extractor located in the boot.
Do not cover the sunshine sensor, located on the dashboard ; this is used
for regulation of the air conditioning system.
Operate the air conditioning system for at least 5 to 10 mi nutes, once or
twice a month to keep it in perfect working order.

h a v e t h e fi l t e r e l e m e n t s r e p l a c e d r e g u l a r l y ( r e f e r t o t h e " C h e c k s " s e c t i o n ) .

T h a n k s t o i t s s p e c i a l a c t i v e a d d i t i v e , i t c o n t r i b u t e s t o t h e p u r i fi c a t i o n o f
the air breathed by the occupants and the cleanliness of the passenger
compartment (reduction of allergic symptoms, bad odours and greasy de-
posits).
To guarantee correct operation of the air conditioning syste m, you are also
advised to have it checked regularly as recommended in the Warranty and
Maintenance Record.
If the system does not produce cold air, deactiva te it and contact a PEUGEOT
dealer.
When towing the maximum load on a steep gradient in high temperatures,
switching off the air conditioning increases the available e ngine power and so
improves the towing ability.
I f a f t e r a n e x t e n d e d s t o p i n s u n s h i n e , t h e i n t e r i o r t e m p e r a t u r e i s v e r y h i g h , fi r s t
ventilate the passenger compartment for a few moments.
P u t t h e a i r fl o w c o n t r o l a t a s e t t i n g h i g h e n o u g h t o q u i c k l y c h a n g e t h e a i r i n t h e
passenger compartment.
The air conditioning system does not contain chlorine and do es not present
any danger to the ozone layer.

system automatically and progressively
changes between the day and night
uses.
It has an anti-dazzle system which dark-
ens the mirror glass: this reduces any
driver discomfort caused by the light
beam of following vehicles, the sun...

Coupling with the "Guide-me-home"
lighting
Association with the automatic illumina-
tion of headlamps provides the "guide-
me-home" lighting with the following
additional options:
- selection of the lighting duration to
15, 30 or 60 seconds in the vehicle
parameters on the multifunction
s c r e e n c o n fi g u r a t i o n m e n u ,
- automatic activation of "guide-me- home" lighting when automatic illumi-
nation of headlamps is in operation.
Automatic illumination of headlamps
The sidelamps and dipped beam head-
lamps are switched on automatically,
without any action on the part of the
driver, when a low level of external light
is detected (sensor behind the rear view
m i r r o r ) o r w h e n t h e w i n d s c r e e n w i p e r s
are switched on.
As soon as the brightness returns to a
s u f fi c i e n t l e v e l o r a f t e r t h e w i n d s c r e e n
wipers are switched off, the lighting is
switched off automatically.
"Guide-me-home" lighting
The dipped headlamps remain on tem-
porarily, after switching off the vehicle's
ignition, to make the driver's exit easier
in poor light.
Activation
With the ignition off, activate a
" h e a d l a m p fl a s h " u s i n g s t a l k B .
A s e c o n d " h e a d l a m p fl a s h " s w i t c h e s
the function off again.
Switching off
The "guide-me-home" lighting is
switched off automatically following the
door locking command, after a given
time. Activation
Turn ring A to the " AUTO " position.
The automatic illumination of head-
lamps is accompanied by a mes-
sage on the multifunction screen. Operating fault
In the event of a malfunction of
the brightness sensor, the light-
ing comes on accompanied by
the service warning lamp, an
audible signal and a message on the

Special position of the windscreen wipers Automatic rain sensitive
windscreen wipers
The windscreen wipers operate automati-
cally, without any action on the part of the
driver, if rain is detected (sensor behind
t h e r e a r v i e w m i r r o r ) , a d a p t i n g t h e i r s p e e d
to the intensity of the rainfall.
Activation
This is controlled manually by the driver
by pushing the stalk A to the "AUTO"
position.
It is accompanied by a message on the
multifunction screen. In the minute following switching off of
the ignition, any action on the stalk po-
sitions the wipers vertically on the wind-
screen.
This action enables you to position the wiper blades for winter parking.
To park the wipers after this has been done, switch on the ignition and operate the stalk.
Do not cover the rain sensor, cou-
pled with the sunshine sensor and
located in the centre of the wind-
screen behind the rear view mirror.
Switch off the ignition when using
an automatic car wash.
In winter, it is advisable to wait until
the windscreen is completely clear
of ice before activating the auto-
matic rain sensitive wipers. The automatic rain sensitive wip-
ers must be reactivated if the ig-
nition has been off for more than
one minute, by pushing the stalk
A
downwards.
Switching off
This is controlled manually by the driver
by moving the stalk A to another posi-
tion and returning it to position "0" .
It is accompanied by a message on the
multifunction screen. Operating fault
If an automatic wiping malfunction oc-
curs, the wipers will operate in intermit-
tent mode.
Have it checked by a PEUGEOT dealer.

TYRE UNDER-INFLATION
DETECTION
System which automatically checks the
pressure of the tyres while driving. All repairs and changing of tyres on
a w h e e l fi t t e d w i t h t h i s s y s t e m m u s t
be carried out by a PEUGEOT
dealer.
If, when changing a tyre, you in-
stall a wheel which is not detected
b y y o u r v e h i c l e ( e x a m p l e : fi t t i n g
of snow tyres), you must have the
system reinitialised by a PEUGEOT
dealer.
This system does not eliminate
the need to have the tyre pres-
sure checked regularly (refer to
the "Technical information - Identi-
fi c a t i o n m a r k i n g s " p a g e ) t o e n s u r e
that the optimum dynamic perfor-
mance of the vehicle is maintained
and prevent premature wear of the
tyres, particularly in arduous driv-
ing conditions (heavy load, high
speed).
The tyre pressures must be checked
cold, at least once a month. Re-
member to check the pressure of
the spare wheel.
T h e t y r e u n d e r - i n fl a t i o n d e t e c t i o n
system may experience temporary
interference due to electro-mag-
netic signals on a frequency close
to that used by the system.
S e n s o r s fi t t e d i n e a c h v a l v e t r i g g e r a
warning in the event of malfunction.
The speed has to be above 12 mph
(20 km/h).
Flat tyre
A message appears on the multifunc-
tion screen, accompanied by an audible
signal, to locate the wheel concerned.
Check the tyre pressures as soon
as possible.
This check must be carried out when
the tyres are cold. This warning lamp and the
STOP
warning lamp come on on the in-
strument panel, accompanied by
an audible signal and a message
on the multifunction screen locat-
ing the wheel concerned.
Stop immediately, avoiding any sud-
den movement of the steering wheel
and the brakes.
Change the damaged wheel (punc-
t u r e d o r v e r y d e fl a t e d t y r e ) , a n d
have the tyre pressure checked as
soon as possible.
Puncture
T h e t y r e u n d e r - i n fl a t i o n d e t e c t i o n
system is an aid to driving which does
not replace the need for the driver to
be vigilant or to drive responsibly. Sensor(s) not detected or faulty
A message appears on the multifunc-
tion screen, accompanied by an audible
signal, to locate the wheel or wheels
which are not detected or to indicate a
fault in the system.
Contact a PEUGEOT dealer to replace
the faulty sensor(s).
This message is also displayed
when one of the wheels is away
from the vehicle (being repaired) or
when one or more wheels without a
s e n s o r a r e fi t t e d .

VISUAL AND AUDIBLE
PARKING SENSORS
System consisting of four proximity sen-
sors, installed in the rear bumper.
It detects any obstacle (person, vehicle,
tree, barrier...) located behind the vehi-
cle, however, it will not be able to detect
obstacles located immediately below
the bumper. The parking sensors are
switched on
by engaging reverse gear.
This is accompanied by an audible signal.

A n o b j e c t , s u c h a s a s t a k e , a r o a d -
works cone or any other similar
o b j e c t m a y b e d e t e c t e d a t t h e s t a r t
of the manoeuvre but may no lon-
ger be detected when the vehicle
moves nearer to it. When the distance between the rear of
the vehicle and the obstacle is less than
approximately thirty centimetres, the
audible signal becomes continuous and
the "Danger" symbol appears, depend-
ing on the multifunction screen version.
The parking sensors are
switched off
by moving the gear lever to neutral.
The parking sensor system cannot,
in any circumstances, replace the
need for vigilance and responsibility
on the part of the driver.
The proximity information is indicated by:
- an audible signal which becomes more rapid as the vehicle approaches
the obstacle,
- a diagram on the multifunction screen * , with blocks which move
closer to the vehicle.
