VISIBILITY
Do not cover the sunshine sensor,
located in the centre of the wind-
screen behind the rear view mirror;
the associated functions would no
longer be controlled.
Coupling with the "Guide-me-home"
lighting
Association with the automatic illumination of
headlamps provides the "guide-me-home"
lighting with the following additional options:
-
selection of the lighting duration to 15, 30
or 60 seconds in the vehicle parameters
o n t h e m u l t i f u n c t i o n s c r e e n c o n fi g u r a -
tion menu,
- automatic activation of "guide-me- home" lighting when automatic illumi-
nation of headlamps is in operation.
Automatic illumination of headlamps
The sidelamps and dipped beam head-
lamps are switched on automatically, with-
out any action on the part of the driver,
when a low level of external light is detect-
e d ( s e n s o r b e h i n d t h e r e a r v i e w m i r r o r ) .
A s s o o n a s t h e b r i g h t n e s s r e t u r n s t o a s u f fi c i e n t
level, the lighting is switched off automatically.
"Guide-me-home" lighting
The dipped beam headlamps remain on
temporarily, after switching off the vehi-
cle's ignition, to make the driver's exit
easier in poor light.
Activation
With the ignition off, activate a
" h e a d l a m p fl a s h " u s i n g s t a l k B .
A s e c o n d " h e a d l a m p fl a s h " s w i t c h e s
the function off again.
Switching off
The "guide-me-home" lighting is
switched off automatically following the
door locking command, after a given
time. Activation
Turn ring A to the "AUTO" position.
The automatic lighting is accompanied
by a message on the multifunction
screen.
In fog or snow, the sunshine sensor
m a y d e t e c t s u f fi c i e n t l i g h t . T h e r e f o r e ,
the lighting will not be switched on auto-
matically. The dipped beam headlamps
must be switched on manually.
Deactivation
Turn ring A to a position other than
"AUTO" . Switching off is accompa-
nied by a message on the multifunction
screen. Operating fault
In the event of a malfunction of
the sunshine sensor, the light-
ing comes on accompanied by
the service warning lamp, an
audible signal and a message on the
multifunction screen.
Have it checked by a PEUGEOT dealer.

STATIC DIRECTIONAL LIGHTING
When the dipped or main beam headlam-
ps are on, this function enables the beam
to light the inside of the turn with an addi-
tional angle of approximately 30°.
The use of this lighting is optimum above
all at low and average speed (city driving,
w i n d i n g r o a d s , . . . ) .

Switching on
The system is switched on from a certain
speed and a certain angle of rotation of the
steering wheel.
Operating fault The function is activated or
deactivated via the multi-

tion menu.
This function is activated

In the event of a malfunction,

HEADLAMP ADJUSTMENT
The initial setting is position "0" .
To avoid causing a nuisance to other
road users, the height of the headlamps
should be adjusted in relation to the
load in the vehicle.
0. 1 or 2 people in the front seats.

2. 4 people + maximum authorised
load.
3. Driver + maximum authorised load.
Switching off
The system is switched off below a certain
angle of rotation of the steering wheel.
It is switched off when reverse gear is
engaged.

System for the selection and control of
the various windscreen wiping modes
permitting the dispersal of rain and
cleaning.
The vehicle's windscreen wipers are
designed to gradually improve the driv-
er's visibility in relation to the weather

A. wiping speed selection control: Windscreen and headlamp
wash
Pull the windscreen wiper stalk to-
wards you.
The headlamp wash is only activate if
the dipped headlamps are on .
With daytime running lamps, to
activate the headlamp wash, posi-
tion the lighting stalk in the dipped
beam position.
O n v e h i c l e s fi t t e d w i t h d i g i t a l a i r
conditioning, any action on the
windscreen wash control results in
temporary closing of the air intake
to avoid odours inside the passen-
ger compartment.
Automatic wiping is not available
on the 207CC at present.

your vehicle.
It switches off gradually:
- when the vehicle is locked,
- when the ignition is switched on,
- 30 seconds after the last door is closed.

DIRECTION INDICATORS
Selection of the left or right direction in-
dicators to signal a change of direction
of the vehicle. If you forget to cancel the direc-
tion indicators for more than twenty
seconds, the volume of the audible
signal will increase if the speed is
above 40 mph (60 km/h).
Lower the lighting stalk when moving to
the left.
Raise the lighting stalk when moving to
the right. "Motorway" function

without going beyond the point of re-
sistance; the direction indicators will
