Hood
To open the hood:
1. Pull the handle with this symbolon it. It is located inside the
vehicle on the lower left side of
the instrument panel. 2. Release the secondary latch on
the hood. It is located below the
front center of the hood.
3. Lift the hood.
Before closing the hood, be sure all
the filler caps are on properly. Then
pull the hood down and close it
firmly.

Bulb Replacement

For any bulb changing procedure
not listed in this section, contact
your dealer.
Halogen Bulbs
{WARNING
Halogen bulbs have pressurized
gas inside and can burst if you
drop or scratch the bulb. You or
others could be injured. Be sure
to read and follow the instructions
on the bulb package.
Headlamps
To replace a headlamp bulb:
1. Open the hood. See Hood
on
page 10‑5for more information.
2. Turn the bulb socket counterclockwise to remove it
from the headlamp assembly
and pull it straight out.
3. Unplug the electrical connector by pushing the release tab and
pulling the bulb socket out. 4. Replace with a new bulb socket.
5. Reverse steps 1 through 3 to
reinstall.
