ISOFIX child seats a r e fi t t e d w i t h
t w o l o c k s w h i c h a r e s e c u r e d e a s i l y o n
the two rings A .
S o m e a l s o h a v e a n upper strap which
is attached to ring B .
To attach this strap, raise the vehicle
s e a t ' s h e a d r e s t r a i n t t h e n p a s s t h e h o o k
b e t w e e n i t s r o d s . T h e n fi x t h e h o o k o n
ring B and tighten the upper strap.

Deactivation
O n l y t h e p a s s e n g e r ' s f r o n t a i r b a g c a n
be deactivated:
with the ignition off , i n s e r t t h e k e y
in the passenger airbag deactivation
switch 1 ,
t u r n i t t o t h e "OFF" p o s i t i o n ,
t h e n , r e m o v e t h e k e y k e e p i n g t h e
switch in the new position.
T h i s w a r n i n g l a m p c o m e s o n
i n t h e i n s t r u m e n t p a n e l w h e n
t h e i g n i t i o n i s o n a n d u n t i l t h e
airbag is re-activated. T o a s s u r e t h e s a f e t y o f y o u r c h i l d ,
t h e p a s s e n g e r ' s f r o n t a i r b a g
m u s t b e d e a c t i v a t e d w h e n y o u
install a "rear facing" child seat
on the front passenger seat.
O t h e r w i s e , t h e c h i l d w o u l d r i s k
b e i n g s e r i o u s l y i n j u r e d o r k i l l e d i f
the airbag were triggered.
Reactivation
W h e n y o u r e m o v e t h e c h i l d s e a t , t u r n
switch 1 to the "ON" position to re-acti-
v a t e t h e a i r b a g a n d s o a s s u r e t h e s a f e t y
o f y o u r f r o n t p a s s e n g e r i n t h e e v e n t o f
a n i m p a c t .
W i t h t h e i g n i t i o n o n , t h i s w a r n -
i n g l a m p c o m e s o n i n t h e i n s t r u -
m e n t p a n e l f o r a p p r o x i m a t e l y
o n e m i n u t e , i f t h e p a s s e n g e r ' s
front airbag is activated. Operating fault
I f t h i s w a r n i n g l a m p c o m e s o n o n t h e
i n s t r u m e n t p a n e l , a c c o m p a n i e d b y
a n a u d i b l e w a r n i n g a n d a m e s s a g e
o n t h e m u l t i f u n c t i o n s c r e e n , c o n -
t a c t a C I T R O Ë N d e a l e r t o h a v e t h e s y s t e m
c h e c k e d . T h e a i r b a g s m a y n o l o n g e r b e t r i g -
g e r e d i n t h e e v e n t o f a s e r i o u s i m p a c t .
