Memory Features
The controls for thisfeature are located on thedriver door, and are usedto program and recallmemory settings for thedriver seat, outsidemirrors, steering wheelposition, and theadjustable throttle andbrake pedal feature, ifthe vehicle has it.

Second Row Seats
If the vehicle has a 60/40 split bench or buckets seats,the seat(s) can be folded for additional cargo space orfolded and tumbled for easy entry and exit to the thirdrow seats, if the vehicle has them. If the vehicle hasbucket seats, the seatbacks can be also be reclined.These seats will have either the manual fold andtumble feature or the automatic seat release foldand tumble feature.

Third Row Seats
If the vehicle has a third row seat, the seatback(s) canbe folded and the entire seat can be tumbled,or removed from the vehicle.

Easy Exit Seat
The control for this feature is located on the driver’sdoor between buttons 1 and 2.
With the vehicle in P (Park), the exit position can berecalled by pressing the exit button. You will hear asingle beep. The driver’s seat will move back.
If the easy exit seat feature is on in the DriverInformation Center (DIC), automatic seat movementwill occur when the key is removed from the ignition.See“EASY EXIT SEAT”underDIC VehicleCustomizationon page 4!57for more information.
Further programming for the memory seat feature canbe done using the DIC. You can select the automaticeasy exit seat feature or the remote memory seatrecall feature.

Power Reclining Seatbacks
Driver's Seat with Power Seat Control, PowerRecline, and Power Lumbar shown
The controls for the power reclining seatback arelocated on the outboard side of the front seats behindthe power seat control.
.To recline the seatback, tilt the top of the controlrearward.
.To bring the seatback forward, tilt the top of thecontrol forward.

To replace the battery:
1. Separate the transmitter with a flat, thin objectinserted into the notch, located above themetal base.
2. Remove the old battery. Do not use a metal object.
3. Insert the new battery, positive side facing up.Replace with a CR2032 or equivalent battery.
4. Snap the transmitter back together.
Remote Vehicle Start
This feature allows you to start the engine from outsideof the vehicle. It may also start up the vehicle's heatingor air conditioning systems and rear window defogger.Normal operation of the system will return after the keyis turned to the ON/RUN position.
During a remote start, the climate control system willdefault to a heating or cooling mode depending on theoutside temperatures.
During a remote start, if your vehicle has an automaticclimate control system and heated seats, the heatedseats will turn on during colder outside temperaturesand will shut off when the key is turned to ON/RUN.If your vehicle does not have an automatic climatecontrol system, during remote start, you will need tomanually turn the heated seats on and off. SeeHeatedand Cooled Seatso n p a g e 2!5for additionalinformation.
Laws in some communities may restrict the use ofremote starters. For example, some laws may require aperson using the remote start to have the vehicle inview when doing so. Check local regulations for anyrequirements on remote starting of vehicles.
Do not use the remote start feature if your vehicle is lowon fuel. Your vehicle may run out of fuel.

Rear Window Defogger
The rear window defogger uses a warming grid toremove fog from the rear window.
<(Rear Window Defogger):Press to turn the rearwindow defogger on or off. It automatically turns offafter it has been activated. The defogger can also beturned off by turning off the engine. Do not drive thevehicle until all the windows are clear.
Notice:Do not use a razor blade or sharp object toclear the inside rear window. Do not adhereanything to the defogger grid lines in the rear glass.These actions may damage the rear defogger.Repairs would not be covered by your warranty.
Heated Mirrors :For vehicles with heated outsiderearview mirrors, the mirrors heat to help clear fog orfrost from the surface of the mirror when the rearwindow defog button is pressed. SeeOutside HeatedMirrors on page 3!45.
Heated or Cooled Seats :For vehicles with heated andcooled seats, seeHeated and Cooled Seatsonp a g e 2!5.
Outlet Adjustment
Use the air outlets located in the center and on the sideof the instrument panel to direct the airflow.
Operation Tips
.Keep the hood and front air inlets free of ice, snow,or any other obstruction (such as leaves). Theheater and defroster will work far better, reducingthe chance of fogging the inside of the windows.
.When you enter a vehicle in cold weather, pressthe fan up button to the maximum fan level beforedriving. This helps clear the intake ducts of snowand moisture, and reduces the chance of foggingthe inside of the window.
.Keep the air path under the front seats clear ofobjects. This helps air to circulate throughout thevehicle.
.Adding outside equipment to the front of thevehicle, such as hood-air deflectors, may affect theperformance of the heating and air conditioningsystem. Check with your dealer/retailer beforeadding equipment to the outside of the vehicle.

Some DVDs do not allow fast forwarding or skipping ofthe copyright information or previews. If the DVD doesnot begin playing at the main title, refer to the on-screeninstructions.
The DVD player can be controlled by using the buttonslocated below the video display screen or by using thebuttons on the system’s remote control. See“RemoteControl”later for more information.
The following discs are compatible with the DVD player:
.DVD-Video: A DVD that has video.
.CD-DA: A CD that has music or soundcontent only.
.CD-Video: A CD that has a movie.
.CD-R/RW: A disc that has audio files such asCD-R with downloaded MP3 files, MPEG, orJPEG files.
The DVD player and discs are coded by global region.The DVD players are set to Region 1. Discs with otherregion codes will not work in the players.
If an error message displays on the video screen, see“DVD Messages”later in this section.
While the vehicle is moving, passengers should notunfasten their safety belts to make adjustments to thevideo screen control buttons. See“Safety Belts”under,Seats and Restraint Systems in the vehicle’s ownermanual. Use the remote control for any necessaryadjustments. See“Remote Control”later in thissupplement.
POWERO:Press to turn the power on or off. Each
video screen can be powered on or off independently.
EJECTX:Press to eject a disc from the DVD slot.
If a disc is ejected from the player, but not removed, itwill automatically reload into the player. Another way toreload a disc that has been ejected, but not removedfrom the DVD player, is to press the eject button or theplay button.
PLAYr:Press this button located below the video
display screen to start playback of a disc. On DVDs andvideo CDs with playback control (PBC), menu screenscan display automatically. It might be necessary topress the play button again to begin play.
There is a play position memory feature for DVD andvideo CD only. If the DVD player is turned off and thenturned back on, the DVD player resumes playbackwhere the disc stopped. The play position memory iserased if the disc is removed.
