Pressing this button again immediately cancels the request. The green indicator lamp goes off.
ASSISTANCE CALL
When the ignition is switched on, the green indicator lamp comes on for 3 seconds indicating that the system is operating correctly.
I f t h e o r a n g e i n d i c a t o r l a m p fl a s h e s : t h e r e is a system malfunction.
If the orange indicator lamp is on c o n t i n u o u s l y : t h e b a c k u p b a t t e r y m u s t b e replaced.
In both cases, consult a CITROËN dealer.

OPERATION OF THE SYSTEM
T h e g r e e n i n d i c a t o r l a m p r e m a i n s o n ( w i t h o u t fl a s h i n g ) w h e n communication is established. It goes off at the end of commun ication.
This call is dealt with by the CITROËN Emergency team which re ceives locating information from the vehicle and can send a detailed alert to the appropriate emergency services. In countries in which the team is no t operational, or when the locating service has been expressly refused, t h e c a l l i s d e a l t w i t h d i r e c t l y b y t h e e m e r g e n c y s e r v i c e s ( 1 1 2 ) w i t h o u t t h e vehicle location.
If an impact is detected by the airbag ECU, and independently of any triggering of the airbags, an emergency call is made automatically.

The player does not start. - Check the vehicle's fuses.
The player does not react to pressing of the remote control buttons. - T h e r e m o t e c o n t r o l b a t t e r i e s a r e fl a t . R e p l a c e t h e m .
- The remote control sensor is hampered by objects or is dirty. R emove all objects on the remote control receiver or clean the surface using a damp cloth.
- The video pack has overheated. Let it cool for a few minutes.
Image or sound interference while playing a DVD. The image remains frozen during play.
The player cannot read the disc. The disc may be damaged or di rty.
The player does not play the disc inserted. - T h e f o r m a t o f t h e d i s c d o e s n o t c o r r e s p o n d t o t h e s p e c i fi c a t i o n s o f t h e p l a y e r .
- If it is cold, condensation may have formed on the laser. Wait approximately 5 minutes to allowthe humidity to evaporate.
When a DVD/VCD/SVCD is played,the image is of poor quality. - Remove the disc.
- Using the SETUP button, adjust the brightness and insert the disc again.
No image is displayed on the monitor. - Press the SOURCE button until the image appears.
- Press the SCREEN ON/OFF button.
There is no sound in the audio headphones. - Increase the volume using the VOLUME +/- buttons on the remo te control or using the dial onthe headphones.
- Check that the correct channel is selected on the headphones.
- Press the SOURCE button until the sound arrives.
- Replace the headphone batteries.
The start-up screen does not appear following ejection of the disc. - Insert another disc.
- Switch the system off and then on again.
