Door mirror adjustment
This operates with the ignition on.
From the driver’s seat, select the mirror
b y m o v i n g t h e c o n t r o l 1 , to the left or to
t h e r i g h t , t h e n a d j u s t t h e m i r r o r i n t h e
f o u r d i r e c t i o n s b y m o v i n g t h e c o n t r o l 2 .

sor, linked with the rain sensor and
located in the centre of the wind-
screen behind the rear view mirror;
the associated functions would no
longer be controlled.
Linked with the Guide-me-home
lighting
Association with the automatic illumina-
tion of headlamps provides the guide-me-
home lighting with the following additional
options:
- automatic activation of guide-me-
home lighting when automatic illu-
mination of headlamps is switched
on (in the vehicle parameters of the
m u l t i f u n c t i o n s c r e e n c o n fi g u r a t i o n
m e n u ) ,
- selection of the duration of maintain- ing of the lighting for 15, 30 or 60 sec-
onds in the vehicle parameters of
t h e m u l t i f u n c t i o n s c r e e n c o n fi g u r a -
tion menu (except for monochrome
screen A w h e r e t h i s i s p r e s e t ) .
Operating fault In the event of a malfunction
of the sunshine sensor, the
lamps come on, this warn-
ing lamp is displayed in the
instrument panel and/or a message
appears in the multifunction screen, ac-
companied by an audible signal.
Consult a CITROËN dealer.
HEADLAMP ADJUSTMENT
The initial setting is position "0" .
To avoid causing a nuisance to other
road users, the height of the halogen
headlamps should be adjusted accord-
ing the load in the vehicle.
0. 1 or 2 people in the front seats.
-. Less than 5 people.
1. 5 people.
-. 5 people + maximum authorised load.
2 - 3. Driver + maximum authorised load.

Seat belt not fastened/unfastened
warning lamp
Fastening
Pull the strap, then insert the tongue
in the buckle.
Check that the seat belt is fastened
correctly by pulling the strap.
To lower the attachment point,
squeeze the control A and slide it
downwards.
To raise the attachment point, slide
the control A upwards.
When the ignition is switched
on, this warning lamp comes on,
either on the instrument panel
or on the seat belt and passen-
ger’s front airbag warning lamp display,
if the driver and/or the front passenger
has not fastened their seat belt.
From approximately 12 mph (20 km/h)
t h i s w a r n i n g l a m p fl a s h e s f o r t w o m i n -
utes accompanied by an audible signal.
Once these two minutes have elapsed,
this warning lamp remains on until the
driver and/or the front passenger fas-
tens their seat belt.
Unfastening
Press the red button on the buckle.
Guide the seat belt as it rolls up. SEAT BELTS
Front seat belts
T h e f r o n t s e a t b e l t s a r e fi t t e d w i t h a p r e -
tensioning and force limiting system.
This system improves safety in the front
seats in the event of a front or side im-
pact. Depending on the severity of the
impact, the pretensioning system in-
stantly tightens the seat belts against
the body of the occupants.
The pretensioning seat belts are active
when the ignition is on.
The force limiter reduces the pressure
of the seat belt on the chest of the occu-
pant, so improving their protection.
