T o fi l l t h e t a n k i n c o m p l e t e s a f e t y :
it is imperative that the engine is
switched off,
insert the key in the cap, then turn it
to the left,
remove the cap,
fi l l t h e t a n k , but do not continue
after the 3rd cut-off of the pump ;
this could cause malfunctions.
W h e n y o u h a v e fi l l e d t h e t a n k :
put the cap back in place,
turn the key to the right, then remove
it from the cap.

BONNET
Component which protects and provides
access to the components of the engine
for checking of the various levels.
- Lift the control and raise the bonnet. - Secure the strut to hold the bonnet
open.
Closing
- Put the strut back in its housing.
- Lower the bonnet and release it at the end of its travel.
- Check that the bonnet is locked.
RUNNING OUT OF FUEL
(DIESEL)
If you should run out of fuel, it is neces-
sary to re-prime the circuit:
- fi l l t h e f u e l t a n k w i t h a t l e a s t fi v e l i - tres of diesel,
- squeeze and release the manual re-priming pump, under the bonnet
under the protective cover, until fuel
appears in the transparent pipe,
- operate the starter until the engine starts.
Opening
- Pull the control located on the left,
below the fascia.

Quality of the fuel used for Diesel engines
The Diesel engines are perfectly compatible with biofuels w hich conform to current and future European standards (diesel
fuel which complies with standard EN 590 mixed with a biofue l which complies with standard EN 14214) which can be
distributed at the pumps (possible incorporation of 0 to 7 % Fatty Acid Methyl Ester).
The use of any other type of (bio) fuel (vegetable or animal oils, domestic fuel...) is strictly prohibited (risk of damage to the
engine and fuel circuit).
The consumption values presented here correspond to the values co
mmunicated at the time of printing. These consumption
values were established in accordance with Directive 80/1268/CEE. They may vary depending on the style of driving, driving
conditions, weather conditions, the vehicle load, the maint enance of the vehicle and the use of the accessories.
