Recalling stored stations
On each waveband, press one of the
buttons "1" to "6" b r i e fl y t o r e c a l l t h e
corresponding stored station.
Y o u r r a d i o a u t o m a t i c a l l y s t o r e s t h e
6 stations with the strongest signal on
FM . These stations are stored on the
FMast waveband.
I f i t i s n o t p o s s i b l e t o fi n d s i x s t a t i o n s , t h e
unused memories remain unchanged.

Using the RDS on FM
T h e R D S ( R a d i o D a t a S y s t e m ) a l l o w s
y o u t o c o n t i n u e l i s t e n i n g t o t h e s a m e
s t a t i o n , w h a t e v e r f r e q u e n c y i t i s u s i n g
i n t h e r e g i o n y o u a r e t r a v e l l i n g t h r o u g h . P r e s s t h e "RDS" button
b r i e fl y t o s w i t c h t h e f u n c -
tion on or off.
T h e m u l t i f u n c t i o n d i s p l a y w i l l i n d i c a t e :
- "RDS" if the function is selected,
- "(RDS)" if the function is selected
but not available.
RDS station following
T h e d i s p l a y i n d i c a t e s t h e n a m e o f t h e
s t a t i o n s e l e c t e d . W h e n t h e R D S i s s e -
l e c t e d , t h e r a d i o s e a r c h e s c o n t i n u o u s l y
for the transmitter which is broadcasting
t h e s e l e c t e d s t a t i o n w i t h t h e b e s t r e c e p -
tion.
T r a f fi c i n f o r m a t i o n p r o g r a m m e ( T A ) Regional following mode (REG)
W h e n t h e y a r e p a r t o f a n e t w o r k , c e r -
t a i n s t a t i o n s b r o a d c a s t r e g i o n a l p r o -
g r a m m e s i n t h e v a r i o u s a r e a s t h e y
serve. The regional following mode
a l l o w s y o u t o c o n t i n u e l i s t e n i n g t o t h e
same programme.
To do this, press the
"RDS" button for
more than two seconds to switch the
function on or off.

w i l l b e g i v e n p r i o r i t y , w h a t e v e r s o u r c e
y o u a r e l i s t e n i n g t o ( r a d i o , C D ) .
I f y o u w i s h t o i n t e r r u p t a m e s s a g e ,
press the
"TA" b u t t o n ; t h i s s w i t c h e s t h e
function off.
N o t e : t h e v o l u m e o f t h e t r a f fi c i n f o r -
mation is independent of the volume
of normal radio listening. You can
adjust it using the volume button.
The setting will be stored and will be
used for subsequent messages.
Search by type of programme (PTY)
T h i s a l l o w s y o u t o l i s t e n t o s t a t i o n s b r o a d -
c a s t i n g a s p e c i fi c t y p e o f p r o g r a m m e
(News, Culture, Sport, Rock...). When FM is selected,
press the "TA" button for
more than two seconds
to switch the function on
or off. To search for a
PTY p r o g r a m m e :
- s e l e c t t h e PTY function,
- p r e s s b u t t o n J or L b r i e fl y t o s c r o l l
d o w n t h e l i s t o f t h e d i f f e r e n t t y p e s o f
programme offered,
- w h e n t h e p r o g r a m m e o f y o u r c h o i c e i s d i s p l a y e d , p r e s s b u t t o n J or L for
m o r e t h a n t w o s e c o n d s t o c a r r y o u t
an automatic search (following an
automatic search, the PTY function
is switched off).
In PTY m o d e , t h e t y p e s o f p r o g r a m m e
can be stored. To do this, press the
preselection buttons "1" to "6" for more
t h a n t w o s e c o n d s . P r e s s t h e c o r r e -
s p o n d i n g b u t t o n b r i e fl y t o r e c a l l t h e t y p e
of programme stored.
EON system
T h i s s y s t e m c o n n e c t s s t a t i o n s w h i c h
are part of the same network. It permits
the broadcasting of TA t r a f fi c i n f o r m a -
tion or of a PTY programme broadcast
b y a s t a t i o n w h i c h i s p a r t o f t h e s a m e
n e t w o r k a s t h e s t a t i o n t o w h i c h y o u a r e
listening.
T h i s s e r v i c e i s a v a i l a b l e w h e n y o u h a v e
selected the TA t r a f fi c i n f o r m a t i o n p r o -
gramme or the PTY s e a r c h b y t y p e o f
programme.
