MIRRORS STEERING WHEEL HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT (WITH POWER STEERING)
When stationary
, lower the lever to
unlock the steering wheel.
Adjust to the desired height and lift
the lever to lock the steering wheel.

The interior mirror has two positions:
- d a y ( n o r m a l ) ,
- n i g h t ( a n t i - d a z z l e ) .
To change from one to the other,
push or pull the lever on the lower
edge of the mirror.
Exterior mirrors
Move the lever in all four directions to
adjust the mirror.
For safety reasons, these
o p e r a t i o n s m u s t n o t b e c a r -
ried out while driving.

Parking the vehicle
As far as possible, immobilise
the vehicle on level, stable, non-
slippery ground.
Apply the parking brake, switch off
t h e i g n i t i o n a n d e n g a g e fi r s t g e a r
or reverse for the manual gear-
box, position N for the "2 Tronic"
gearbox. Tools
The following tools are installed in a
carrier, located in the centre of the
spare wheel:
1. Wheelbrace
2. Jack with handle
3. Removable towing eye
Access to the spare wheel and
the jack in the boot
Remove the carpet then the plastic
cover using the handle. Tyre pressures
These are indicated on the label posi-
tioned on the inner pillar of the left door,
s e e " I d e n t i fi c a t i o n " .
CHANGING A WHEEL
If necessary, chock the wheel dia-
gonally opposite the wheel to be
changed.
It is imperative that you ensure that
the occupants get out of the vehi-
cle and wait in a safe location.

1. Position the wheel.
2. Screw in the bolts fully by hand.
Removing the wheel
1. Remove the trim.
2. Slacken the wheel bolts using the
wheelbrace 1 .
3. Place the jack 2 in contact with
one of the four locations A pro-
vided on the underbody, the
one closest to the wheel to be
changed.
4. Extend the jack 2 until its base
is in contact with the ground.
Ensure that the centreline of the
jack base is directly below the
location A used.
5. Lift the vehicle.
6. Remove the bolts and detach the
wheel.
3. Pre-tighten the bolts * using the
wheelbrace 1 .

to notice that the washers do not come into contact with t he spare wheel. It is

CHANGING A BULB
1. Sidelamps (W 5 W)
Turn the bulb holder A one quar-
ter of a turn and remove it.
Remove the bulb and change it.
2. Direction indicators (PY 21 W amber)
Turn the bulb holder B one quar-
ter of a turn and remove it.
Turn the bulb one quarter of a
turn.
Remove the bulb and change it.

Note: in certain climatic con-
ditions (low temperatures,
humidity), the presence
of condensation on the
internal face of the headlamps is
normal ; it disappears a few minutes
after the lights are switched on.
Never go underneath a vehi-
cle supported only by a jack
(use an axle stand).
4. Fold the jack 2 and detach it.
5. Tighten the wheel bolts using the
wheelbrace 1 .
6. R e fi t t h e t r i m .
7. Store the tools and the wheel in
the boot.
T h e j a c k a n d t h e t o o l k i t a r e s p e c i fi c t o
your vehicle. Do not use them for other
purposes.
After changing a wheel:
- have the tighteness of the bolts and the pressure of the spare wheel
checked as soon as possible,
- have the punctured wheel repaired a n d r e fi t i t o n t h e v e h i c l e a s s o o n
as possible.

ing towards you.
Disconnect the bulb holder and
change it.

The fuse boxes are located under the
instrument panel trim and next to the
battery in the engine compartment.
Correct
Removing and fitting a fuse
Before changing a fuse, the cause of
the incident must be found and recti-
fi e d .
Use the pliers A located in the
fuse box under the bonnet.
Incorrect
Pliers A Instrument panel fuse boxes
These are located on each side of
the instrument panel under the trim.
Turn the steering wheel to the
left, remove bolt B .
Turn the steering wheel to the
right (do not forget to release the
steering wheel using the key),
remove bolt C .
Always replace a faulty fuse
with a fuse of the same rating
(same colour).
