* The weight of the braked trailer can be increased, w ithin the GTW limit, if the GVW of the towing vehicle is reduced by an
equal amount; warning, towing using a lightly loaded to wing vehicle may have an adverse effect on its road holding.
The GTW and towed load values indicated are valid up to a maximum altitude of 1 000 metres; the towed load mention ed
must be reduced by 10 % for each additional 1 000 metres of a ltitude.
The speed of a towing vehicle must not exceed 60 mph (100 k m/h) (comply with the legislation in force in your country).
High ambient temperatures may result in a reduction in the pe rformance of the vehicle to protect the engine; if the ambient
temperature is above 37 °C, limit the towed load.

IDENTIFICATION MARKINGS

cation and tracking of your vehicle. If the tyre pressures are too low,
this increases fuel consumption.
The tyre pressures must be
checked when the tyres are cold,
at least once a month.
A. V e h i c l e I d e n t i fi c a t i o n N u m b e r
(VIN)
under the bonnet.
This number is engraved on the bodywork near the damper support.
To gain access to it, raise the plastic cover.
B. VIN
on the windscreen lower
c r o s s m e m b e r .
This number is indicated on a self- adhesive label which is visible
through the windscreen.
C. Manufacturer's plate.
This plate is riveted onto the engine mounting.

D. Manufacturer's label.
This number is indicated on a self- d e s t r o y i n g l a b e l a f fi x e d t o t h e r i g h t
hand centre pillar. This plate/label also indicates the
kerb weight, the gross vehicle
weight (GVW) and the gross train
weight (GTW).
E. Tyre/paint label.
T h i s l a b e l i s a f fi x e d t o t h e f r o n t p i l l a r , on the driver's side.
It bears the following information:
- t h e t y r e i n fl a t i o n p r e s s u r e s w i t h a n d without load,
- the wheel rim and tyre sizes,
- the brands of tyre recommended by the manufacturer,
- t h e i n fl a t i o n p r e s s u r e o f t h e s p a r e wheel,
- the paint colour code.
