The vehicle is too far from the transmitter used by the station listened to or t h e r e i s n o t r a n s m i t t e r i n t h e g e o g r a p h i c a l a r e a t h r o u g h w h i c h t h e v e h i c l e i s t r a v e l l i n g .

D u r i n g t h i s b r i e f s o u n d c u t - o u t , t h e R D S s e a r c h e s f o r a n y f r e q u e n c y p e r m i t t i n g b e t t e r r e c e p t i o n o f t h e s t a t i o n . Press the SOURCE button several times in succession and select the radio.
Press the BAND AST button to select a waveband: FM1, FM2, FMast, AM.
B r i e fl y p r e s s o n e o f t h e b u t t o n s t o carry out an automatic search of the radio stations.
Press one of the buttons to carry out a manual search of the radio stations.
Press the LIST REFRESH button to display the list of stations received locally (30 stations maximum). To update this list, press for more than two seconds.
S e l e c t A C T I V A T E F R E Q U E N C Y FOLLOWING (RDS) then press OK. RDS appears on the display.
Select the FM WAVEBAND PREFERENCES function then press OK.
Select AUDIO FUNCTIONS then press OK.
Press the MENU button.
