Rear shelf
To remove the shelf:
unhook the two cords,
raise the shelf slightly, then unclip it
on each side. Hooks
The hooks permit the securing of
shopping bags.
Luggage retaining net
Hooked onto the stowing rings, this en-
ables you to secure your luggage to the
bottom of the boot. Storage box
Raise the boot carpet to gain access
to the storage box.
This has areas for storing a temporary
puncture repair kit, a box of spare bulbs,
a fi r s t a i d k i t , t w o w a r n i n g t r i a n g l e s , . . .

In some climatic conditions (e.g.
l o w t e m p e r a t u r e o r h u m i d i t y ) ,
the presence of misting on the
internal surface of the glass of
the headlamps and rear lamps
is normal; it disappears after the
lamps have been on for a few
minutes. T h e h e a d l a m p s a r e fi t t e d w i t h
polycarbonate glass with a pro-
t e c t i v e c o a t i n g :
do not clean them using a
dry or abrasive cloth, nor
with a detergent or solvent
product,
use a sponge and soapy water,
when using a high pressure
washer on persistent marks,
do not direct at the lamps or
their outlines for too long, so
as not to damage their coat-
ing and their seals.
CHANGING A BULB
Procedure for replacing a faulty bulb
with a new bulb .
Do not touch the bulb directly
w i t h y o u r fi n g e r s , u s e l i n t -
free cloths.
Changing a halogen bulb should
only be done after the headlamp
has been switched off for a few
m i n u t e s ( r i s k o f s e r i o u s b u r n s ) .
It is imperative to use only anti-
u l t r a v i o l e t ( U V ) t y p e b u l b s i n o r d e r
not to damage the headlamp. Front lamps
1. Direction indicators
(PY21W amber).
2. Sidelamps (W5W).
3. Main beam headlamps (H1-55W).
4. Dipped beam headlamps
(H7-55W).

Changing direction indicator bulbs
Turn the bulb holder a quarter of a
turn and extract it.
Pull out the bulb and change it.

W h e n r e fi t t i n g , c l o s e t h e p r o t e c -
tive cover carefully to preserve
the sealing of the headlamp.

indicator warning lamp (right
o r l e f t ) i n d i c a t e s t h e f a i l u r e o f a
bulb on that side.
Amber coloured bulbs, such as
the direction indicators, must be
replaced with bulbs of identical
s p e c i fi c a t i o n s a n d c o l o u r .
Changing dipped beam headlamp
bulbs
Remove the protective cover by
pulling on the tab.
Disconnect the bulb connector.
Compress the springs to release the
bulb.
Extract the bulb and change it.

Changing main beam headlamp
bulbs
Remove the protective cover by
pulling on the tab.
Disconnect the bulb connector.
Spread the springs to release the
bulb.
Remove the bulb and change it.

Changing sidelamp bulbs
Remove the protective cover by
pulling on the tab.
Pull the bulb holder pressing on the
tabs on both sides.
Pull the bulb and change it.

Changing front foglamp bulbs To obtain them, contact your
CITROËN dealer.
I f y o u e x p e r i e n c e a n y d i f fi c u l t y
in replacing bulbs, contact your
CITROËN dealer.
Access to the front foglamp is through
the aperture below the bumper.
Disconnect the black bulb holder
connector, by pressing on the tab at
the top.
Remove the bulb-holber by pressing
on the 2 clips (at the top and the bot-
t o m ) .
Replace the module.

Changing integrated direction
indicator side repeaters
Insert a screwdriver towards the
centre of the repeater between the
repeater and the base of the mirror.
Tilt the screwdriver to extract the re-
peater and remove it.
Disconnect the repeater connector.
Replace the module.

Contact a CITROËN dealer to
obtain replacement repeaters.

Reversing lamp right-hand side
(P21W). These four bulbs are changed from inside
t h e b o o t :
open the boot,
r e m o v e t h e a c c e s s fl a p f r o m t h e
corresponding side trim panel,
u n s c r e w t h e b u t t e r fl y n u t s e c u r i n g
the lamp unit,
unclip the lamp unit connector,
extract the lamp unit carefully pulling
in its middle towards the outside,
spread the four tabs and remove the
bulb holder,
turn the bulb a quarter of a turn and
change it.

verse order.
Take care to engage the lamp unit in its
guides, while keeping it in line with the
vehicle.
Changing bulbs
Amber or red bulbs, such as
those for the direction indica-
tors and rear foglamp, must be
replaced by bulbs of the same
rating and colour.
The lamps on the tailgate are
dummy units. They are there for
aesthetic purposes only.

Changing the number plate lamp
bulbs (W5W)
Insert a thin screwdriver into one of
the outer holes of the lens.
Push it outwards to unclip.
Remove the lens.
Pull the bulb out and change it.
Open the boot.
Remove the plugs A on the inner
panel.
Push on the centre of the lamp using
two screwdrivers to lever it outwards.
Disconnect the connector and if
necessary the screenwash pipe
from the lamp.
Turn the bulb holder for the faulty
bulb a quarter of a turn.
Pull out the bulb and change it.

Third brake lamp (4 W5W bulbs)

Interior lighting
Interior lamp (1/W5W)
Unclip the cover of the interior lamp 1
with a thin screwdriver, close to the but-
ton, to access the faulty bulb.
Side reading lamps (2/W5W)
Unclip the cover of the reading lamp 2
with a small screwdriver at the switch
end for access to the faulty bulb. Boot lamp (W5W)
Unclip the unit by pushing it from the
rear.
Sill lamps (W5W)
Unclip the lamp for access to the bulb.
