Although one of PEUGEOT's main
criteria when designing your vehicle,
the safety of your children also de-
pends on you.
For maximum safety, please follow
these precautions:
- in accordance with Directive
2003/20, all children under the
age of 12 or less than one metre

- statistically, the safest seats in
your vehicle for the transpor-
tation of children are the rear
seats,

m u s t t r a v e l i n t h e " r e a r w a r d s -
facing" position both in the
front and in the rear.
PEUGEOT recommends that chil-
dren should travel in the rear seats
of your vehicle:
- " r e a r w a r d s - f a c i n g " up to the
age of 2,
- " f o r w a r d s - f a c i n g " over the age
of 2. " R e a r w a r d s - f a c i n g "
When a "rearwards-facing" child seat
is installed on the
front passenger
seat , it is essential that the passen-
g e r a i r b a g i s d i s a r m e d . O t h e r w i s e ,
t h e c h i l d w o u l d r i s k b e i n g s e r i -
ously injured or killed if the air bag
w e r e t o i n fl a t e .
