This easy-to-use Quick Reference Guide is intended to help you more fully
appreciate some of the unique features and functions of your new vehicle.
However, it is not intended to replace your Owner’s Manual. The Owner’s
Manual contains more detailed information to help you better understand the
important safety warnings, features, operation, and maintenance of your
vehicle.
REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM
LOCK DOORS
Press the
button to lock all doors.
UNLOCK DOORS
Press the
button once to unlock the driver’s door
only. Press thebutton againwithin 5seconds to
unlock all doors.
POWER SLIDING DOORS (if so equipped)
Press andhold the
button forlonger than0.5
seconds to open or close the power sliding door. The
door willreverse direction immediately duringpower
open or power close if the keyfob button is pressed. A
chime will sound to indicate the reversal.
POWER LIFTGATE (if so equipped)
Press and hold the
button for longer than 0.5 seconds to open or close the
power lift gate. The hazard lights will flash and a chime will sound to indicate that the
power open or power close sequence has started. If you press the button again, the
lift gate will reverse direction immediately; a chime will sound to indicate the reversal.
SILENCING THE HORN BEEP FEATURE
For vehicles without Navigation system:
To deactivate: Press and hold the
andbuttons for at least 2 seconds.
To activate: Press and hold the
andbuttons for at least 2 seconds.
For vehicles with Navigation system:
If you change thehorn beep feature withthekeyfob, thedisplay screenwillnot show the
current mode. Use the keyfob to return to the previous mode and re-enable the display screen
control.
Press the SETTING button on control panel.
Select Vehicle Electronic Systems.
Press ENTER.
Select Keyless Remote Response – Horn.
Set operating conditions toturn horn beep onoroff when locking orunlocking the
vehicle with the keyfob.

FOG LIGHT OPERATION
NOTE:The headlights must be on and the low beams selected for the fog lights to operate.
Turn the switch (inside collar)
to theposition to turn on the fog lights.
Turn the switch (inside collar)
to the OFFposition to turn off the fog lights.
TURN SIGNAL SWITCH
Move the headlight control switch up or downto
signal a turning direction. When the turn is completed,
the turn signals cancel automatically.
To signal alane change, movetheheadlight control
switch up or down
to the point where the indicator
light begins to flash, but the headlight control switch does not latch.
HIGH BEAM
Push the headlight control switch forwardto se-
lect thehigh beam function. Theblue
indicator
light illuminates. Pulltheheadlight switchbacktothe
original position to select the low beam. The blue
indicator light goes off.
Pull and release the headlight control switch
to flash the headlight high beams on
and off.
LIGHTS ON DEMAND (if so equipped)
The lights ondemand switchallowsthedriver toselect oneofthree
lighting modes for the interior lights and puddle lamps:
Push thetop portion ofthe switch andtheinterior lightsand
puddle lamps will illuminate. The lights will turn off automatically
after 30minutes toprevent thebattery frombecoming dis-
charged.
Push the switch to the neutral position and the lights will stay on for approximately 30
seconds when:
The doors areunlocked bythe keyfob, akey, orthe power doorlockswitch whileall
doors are closed and the ignition switch is in the OFF position.
The driver’s door is opened and then closed while the key is removed from the ignition
switch.
The key is removed from the ignition switch while all doors are closed.

The interior lights and puddle lamps will turn off while the 30-second timer is activated when: The driver’s door is locked by the keyfob, a key, or the power door lock switch.
The ignition switch is turned on.
The lights will turn off automatically after 30 minutes while the doors are open to prevent the
battery from becoming discharged.
Push the OFFportion of the switch and the interior lights and puddle lamps will not illuminate.
The lights can be turned off so sleeping passengers are not disturbed when the doors
are opened.
The lights on the front doors will turn on when the front doors are opened.
STEERING WHEEL SWITCHES FOR AUDIO CONTROL/
BLUETOOTH (if so equipped)
Press the MODEbutton to turn the radio system
on.
To choose Preset A, B, C, CD, AUX or XM (if so
equipped) press MODErepeatedly.
The tuning up or down
switch can be used to
perform the following:
● Push the
switch for less than 1.5 seconds
to change to a preset station.
● Push and hold the
switch for more than 1.5 seconds to seek the next or previous
broadcasting radio station.
● Push the
switch while playing a CD (if so equipped) for less than 1.5 seconds to
change tracks on the CD.
● If the vehicle is equipped with a CD changer, push and hold the
switch for more
than 1.5 seconds to change between CDs.
Push the VOLcontrol switch up or down to increase or decrease the volume.
CRUISE CONTROL
To activate the cruise control, push the ON·OFFswitch.
The indicator light in the instrument panel will illuminate.
To set cruising speed,accelerate thevehicle tothe
desired speed,pushthe COAST/SET switchandre-
lease it. The SET indicator light in the instrument panel
will illuminate.
Toreset atafaster cruising speed,pushandhold the
ACCEL/RES switch.Whenthevehicle attainsthe
speed you desire, release the switch.
To reset at a slower cruising speed, push and hold the COAST/SETswitch. Release the
switch when the vehicle slows to the desired speed.

EJECT BUTTON
EJECT A SINGLE DISC - Press the
button for less than 1.5 seconds. Select the
eject slot by pressing the CD insert select button ( 1-6 ) . The CD will then eject.
EJECT ALL DISCS - Press and hold the
button for more than 1.5 seconds. The
CDs will be ejected one after another.

TRIP BUTTON
When the TRIPbutton is pressed, the following
modes will display on the screen:

MAINTENANCE ITEMS
You cansetthe engine oiland thetirerotation interval. Todisplay thesetting ofthe
maintenance interval, select the ENGINE OILorTIRE ROTATION key using the joystick and
press the ENTER button.Toset the maintenance interval,selecttheMAINTENANCE
SCHEDULE keyusing thejoystick andpush thejoystick tothe right orleft. Toreset the
maintenance interval, select the RESETkey using the joystick and press the ENTERbutton.
DISPLAY SCREEN SETTINGS
The SETTING screenwillappear whentheSETTING buttonispressed. Selectthe
DISPLAY key with the joystick and press the ENTERbutton to choose from various display
screen options. The DISPLAYkey will allow you to personalize the information shown on the
display screen, such as climate control or audio system display.
REARVIEW MONITOR (if so equipped)
When theautomatic transmission leverismoved tothe R
(Reverse) position,themonitor displaywillautomatically
change to show the area directly behind the vehicle.
The colored linesonthe display screenindicate approximate
distances to objects.
Red 1.5 ft (0.5 m); Yellow 3 ft (1 m); Green 7 ft (2 m) and
10 ft (3 m) .

AUTOMATIC DRIVER POSITIONER (if so equipped)
The automatic driver positioner system has two features: Memory storage function.
Entry/exit function.
MEMORY STORAGE FUNCTION
Two positions forthe driver’s seat,accelerator andbrake pedals, and
outside mirrors can be stored in the automatic driver positioner memory.
Follow these procedures to set driver preferences.
SET THE DESIRED POSITIONING
Set the automatic transmission lever to the P (Park) position.
Turn theignition onand adjust thedriver’s seat,accelerator andbrake pedals, and
outside mirrors to the desired positions.
Press the SET(memory) button and within 5 seconds press the position button (1 or2
) for at least 1 second until the indicator light illuminates. The position is now stored in
memory.
LINK TO KEYFOB
Within 5 seconds of setting the memory position (indicator light is on and ignition is on) ,
press the
button on the remote.
A keyfob can be linked to each memory button.
If memory positioning is re-set to a new location, the keyfob automatically re-links.
RECALLING A MEMORY SETTING FROM THE MEMORY PAD
With the automatic transmission lever in the P (Park) position, press the position button
( 1 or2) for at least 1 second.
FROM THE KEYFOB
If properly linked, operation of thebutton will automatically return the driver’s seat,
accelerator and brake pedals, and outside mirrors to the memorized position.
ENTRY/EXIT FUNCTION
The driver’s seat automatically moves to allow the driver to get into and out of the driver’s seat
more easily. The driver’s seat slides backward when:
The key is removed from the ignition switch.
The driver’s door is opened with the key turned to LOCK.
The keyisturned fromACC toLOCK withthedriver’s dooropen andtheautomatic
transmission lever is in the P (Park) position.
The driver’s seat returns to the previous position when:
The key is inserted into the ignition switch.
The driver’s door is closed with the key turned to LOCK.
The keyisturned fromACC toON while theautomatic transmission leverisin the P
(Park) position.

TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM (TPMS)
Thissystem monitors tirepressure. Ifthe low tirepressure warning
light illuminates, check the tire pressure in all four tires.
Adjust the low tire pressure to the recommended COLD tire pressure
shown on the Tire and Loading Information label located in the driver’s
door opening. After tire pressures are adjusted, the vehicle will need
to be driven at speeds above 16 MPH (25 km/h) to activate the TPMS
and turn off the low tire pressure warning light.
SEAT BELT WARNING LIGHT AND CHIME
The light and chime remind you to fasten your seat belts. The light
illuminates whenevertheignition keyisturned tothe ON or
START position andremains illuminated untilthedriver’s seat
belt is fastened. At the same time, the chime sounds for approxi-
mately 6seconds unlessthedriver’s seatbeltissecurely fas-
tened.
The seat beltwarning lightmayalso illuminate ifthe front pas-
senger’s seatbeltisnot fastened whenthefront passenger’s
seat is occupied. For 7 seconds after the ignition switch is in the ON position, the system
does not activate the warning light for the front passenger.
CHILD SAFETY REAR DOOR LOCK
Child safety lockshelpprevent therear doors frombeing
opened accidentally, especiallywhensmallchildren arein
the vehicle. The child safety lock levers are located on the
edge ofthe rear doors. Whenthelever isin the LOCK
position, the door can only be opened from the outside.
FUEL-FILLER DOOR RELEASE
Press theswitch located onthe driver’s doortoopen the
fuel-filler door.
Close the fuel-filler door securely to lock it.
The driver’s sidepower sliding doorisdisabled whenthe
fuel-filler door is open. The sliding door can be partially opened
manually.

FUEL-FILLER CAP
To tighten, turn the fuel-filler cap clockwise until ratcheting
clicks are heard. If the cap is not fully tightened, the service
engine soon light may illuminate.
If
light illuminates becausefuelcap isloose or
missing, tighten or install the cap. The
should turn
off after a few driving trips.
MOONROOF CONTROLS (if so equipped)
The ignition switch must be in the ON position to operate the
moonroof controls.
TILTING THE MOONROOF
To tiltthe moonroof up,push thetiltswitch tothe
UP
position. If the roof is open, it will automatically
close and then tilt up.
To tiltthe moonroof down,pushthetiltswitch tothe
DOWN
position.
SLIDING THE MOONROOF
Push the switch toward the OPENpositionto fully open the moonroof.
Push the switch toward the CLOSEposition
to fully close the moonroof.
Push the switch in any direction while the moonroof is sliding open or closed to stop the
moonroof in the desired position.
POWER SLIDING DOORS AND POWER LIFT GATE (if so equipped)
POWER SLIDING DOORS
The power sliding doorscanbeacti-
vated bythe buttons onthe keyfob, the
overhead console, and the door pillars.
Toopen, closeorreverse asliding
door, the ignition switch must be off or the automatic transmission selector lever must be
in P (Park) .
To open, close or reverse a sliding door with the keyfob, press and hold the keyfob button
for longer than 0.5 seconds.
To activate a sliding door with the button on the door pillar, the main ON/OFFswitch
must be on, the door must be unlocked, and the child safety door lock must be in the
unlock position.
