E00404900871
This type of belt requires no length adjustment. Once worn, the belt adjusts itself to the movement
of wearer, but in the event of
a sudden or strong shock, the belt automatically locks to hold the wearer’s body.To fasten 1. Pull the seat belt out slowly while holding the latch plate.NOTE●
When the seat belts cannot be pulled out in a locked con- dition, pull the belts once forcefully and then return them. After that, pull the belts out slowly once again.
2. Insert the latch plate into the buckle until a “click” is
heard.
●
No modifications or addition
s should be made by the
user which will either preven
t the seat belt adjusting
devices from operating to remove slack, or preventthe seat belt assembly
from being adjusted to
remove slack.
●
Never hold a child in your
arms or on your lap when
riding in this vehicle, ev
en if you are wearing your
seat belt. To do so risks severe or fatal injury to your child in a collision or sudden stop.
●
Always adjust the belt to a snug fit.
●
Always wear the lap port
ion of the belt over your
hips.WARNING

E00410600075
WARNING
!●
Do not fit any accessory
that makes the indicator
impossible to see, and do
not cover the indicator
with a sticker. You would no
t be able to verify the
status of the passenger airbag system.
WARNING
!●
To reduce risk of serious or fatal injury:• Always remove the key from the ignition switch before operating an ai

ure to do so could advers
ely affect the airbag per-

to operate the airbag ON-
OFF switch after turning
the ignition switch from
the “ON” position to the “LOCK” position. The SRS airbag system is designed to retainenough voltage to deploy the airbag. • Always remove the key from an airbag ON-OFF switch after operati
ng that switch. Failure to do so
could lead to improper posi
tion of the airbag ON-
OFF switch. • Do not turn OFF the front passenger’s airbag ON-OFF switch except when
a rearward facing child
restraint system is fitt
ed to the front passenger
seat.• If the indicator does not illuminate when the front passenger’s airbag ON-OFF
switch is turned OFF,
do not fit a rearward facing child restraint systemto the front passenger seat. We recommend you to have the system inspected by a MITSUBISHI MOTORS Authorized
Service Point.
• If the indicator remains
on when the front passen-
ger’s airbag ON-OFF switch is turned ON, do not allow anyone to sit on the front passenger seat. Werecommend you to have th
