IDENTIFICATION PLATE (STAGE 2)
Following the installation of the LPG system components, a plate (Stage 2) is fitted to the left side of the luggage compartment rear
floor, that contains the following information:
– Name of manufacturer;
– Homologation number (Stage 2);
– Vehicle type identification codes;
– Vehicle weights;
– Engine type;
– Bodywork version code.

LPG FUEL SYSTEM
Electronic injection with special LPG injec-
tors.

(*) The figure already takes into account
the 80% tank filling limit and the residual
fluid required for the pump and the max-
imum permitted capacity. There may be
slight variations to this figure as a re-
sult of: differences between the supply
pressures of pumps in the network,
pumps with different supply/cut off
specifications, tank not completely in
reserve condition..Note than when using a fuel such as LPG,
the range is very variable because, in ad-
dition to the vehicle driving and mainte-
nance conditions, it also depends on the
composition of the gas which may vary,
not only seasonally, but also from suppli-
er to supplier. LPG is, in effect, a compo-
sition of gas (butane and propane) mixed
in a way that may not be standardized.
During LPG operation, the “Instant con-
sumption” and “Average consumption”
readings are not significant, but remain
valid for all other functions.
IMPORTANT Only use LPG for mo-
tor vehicles. If, when refuelling with LPG,
the tank is filled with more
than the 38 litres, seek assis-
tance immediately from a Fi-
at Dealer. Periodically (at least once
every six months) it is advisable to let
the LPG in the tank run out and, at the
first refuelling, check that it does not
exceed the maximum capacity of 38
litres.

FUEL CONSUMPTION
The fuel consumption figures given in the
table below are determined on the basis
of the homologation tests laid down by
specific European Directives.
The procedures below are followed for
measuring consumption:
– urban cycle: cold starting followed by
driving that simulates urban use of the car;
– extra-urban cycle: driving simulating the
use of the vehicle in a non-urban situation
with frequent acceleration in all gears; the
speed varies between 0 and 120 km/h;
– combined consumption: about 37% of
the urban cycle and around 63% of the
non-urban cycle.IMPORTANT The type of route, traffic sit-
uations, weather conditions, driving style,
general conditions of the car, trim lev-
el/equipment/accessories, use of the cli-
mate control system, vehicle load, roof
rack and other situations that affect air
drag may lead to different fuel consump-
tion levels than those measured.(see
“Saving fuel” in the “Starting and
driving” chapter in the handbook).

With reference to the combined con-
sumption figures, the range running on
LPG is 520 km.
