DVD player
This video assembly will allow the rear
passengers to pass the time agree-
a b l y w h i l e w a t c h i n g t h e i r f a v o u r i t e fi l m
or playing their favourite game, in par-
ticular by means of the connection of a
DVD player or games console. The screen is incorporated in a central
console on the roof.
The three video sockets are located un-
der the cover at the rear of the central
armrest.
This video assembly consists of:
- a 9 inch colour screen,
- two wireless HF stereo headphones,
- a remote control.

Tailgate release
This enables the tailgate to be unlocked
in the event of a central locking fault.
- Fold back the rear seats to gain access to the tailgate release from
inside the boot.
- Remove the plastic cap from the opening A in the tailgate interior
pillar. SUNROOF
Complete opening
With the ignition on, push the control
rearwards (in the direction 1 ).

opening to prevent unwanted gusts of
air.
Operation
Complete closing
With the ignition on, push the control
forwards (in the direction 2 ).

part 3 of the control or push the
control in the opposite direction.
Partial opening
To open , with the ignition on, press
part 3 of the control.

The rear part of the sunroof closes.

unlock and open the tailgate. The sunroof stops automatically just
before complete opening. Push the
control again for complete opening.

Safety auto-reverse and
reinitialisation
If the roof meets an obstacle while it is
closing, it stops and opens again. Always remove the key from
the ignition when leaving the
vehicle, even for a short time.
If the roof meets an obstacle dur-
ing operation, you must reverse the
movement of the roof. To do this,
press the control concerned.
When the driver operates the roof
control, he must ensure that no one
is preventing the roof from closing
correctly.
The driver must ensure that passen-
gers use the sunroof correctly.
Be aware of children when operating
the roof.
In the event of unwanted opening of
t h e r o o f o n c l o s i n g ( f o r e x a m p l e , i n
the presence of ice) and immediately
after the roof has stopped, or after
the safety auto-reverse has been
t r i g g e r e d fi v e t i m e s i n s u c c e s s i o n :
press part 3 of the control several
times to partially open the roof,
when the roof partially opens,
continue to press for more than
3 seconds .

The safety auto-reverse function
is not operational during t hese
operations. SHUTTER
The shutter is manual, slide it.
It is stored automatically when the roof
is opened.
Check that the sunroof is
not open in tilt mode before
closing the shutter.
The shutter cannot be closed
when the sunroof is open in sliding
mode .

Front air bags
Do not drive holding the steering wheel by its spokes or resting your hands on
the centre part of the wheel.
Passengers must not place their feet on the fascia.
Smoke as little as possible as deployment of the air bags can ca use burns or
the risk of injury from a cigarette or pipe.
Never remove or pierce the steering wheel or hit it violently.
Side air bags
P u t a p p r o v e d c o v e r s o n l y o n t h e s e a t s . T h e s e w i l l n o t h i n d e r i n fl a t i o n o f t h e
side air bags. Consult a CITROËN dealer.
D o n o t fi x o r g l u e a n y t h i n g t o t h e s e a t b a c k s . T h i s c o u l d c a u s e i n j u r y t o t h e
chest or arms if the side air bag is triggered.
Do not sit with the upper part of the body any nearer to the door than neces-
sary.
For the air bags to be fully
effective, observe the
following safety rules:
Sit in a normal upright position.
Wear a correctly adjusted seat belt.
Do not leave anything between the
occupants and the air bags (a child,
pet, object...). This could hamper the
operation of the air bags or injure the
occupants.
After an accident or if the vehicle has
been stolen or broken into, have the
air bag systems checked.
All work on the air bag system is strict-
ly forbidden unless it is carried out by
q u a l i fi e d p e r s o n n e l o f t h e CITROËN
network.
Even if all of the precautions men-
tioned are observed, a risk of injury
or of minor burns to the head, chest
or arms when an air bag is triggered
cannot be ruled out. In fact, the bag
i n fl a t e s a l m o s t i n s t a n t l y ( w i t h i n a f e w
m i l l i s e c o n d s ) t h e n d e fl a t e s w i t h i n t h e
same time discharging the hot gas via
openings provided for this purpose.
Curtain air bags
D o n o t fi x o r g l u e a n y t h i n g t o t h e r o o f . T h i s c o u l d c a u s e i n j u r y t o t h e h e a d i f t h e
curtain air bag is triggered.
Do not remove the grab handles installed on the roof, the y play a part in secur-
ing the curtain air bags.
