–Whenyougetoutofthecar,thelightsareturnedonforapprox.30secondsafterthedoorisopened.Theoff-delaytimeresumeswhenthevehicleislocked.OnvehicleswiththeSportChronoPlusPackage,thePCMcanbeusedtosettheoff-delaytime.Thissettingalsochangesthelightingperiodforunlockingthevehicle.Pleaseobservethechapter“IndividualMemory”intheseparatePCMoperatinginstructions.
–Thelightsareturnedonforapprox.30sec-ondswhenthevehicleisunlocked.ThelightsgooutiftheignitionisswitchedonorwhenleavingtheWelcomeHomelighting.

Whentheignitionisswitchedon,theleveloftheheadlightbeamautomaticallychangesinaccordancewiththevehicleload.Theleveloftheheadlightbeamisautomaticallykeptconstantduringaccelerationandbraking.
Checkingoperation
1.Switchthelowbeamon.
2.Insertignitionkeyandswitchignitionon.Thelightbeamfirstdipsallthewaydownandisthenadaptedtothevehicleload.
Ifthesetestitemsarenotmet,theheadlightbeamadjustmentmustbecheckedbyanauthorizedPorschedealer.

Ifthewiperbladesruborsqueak,thismaybeasaresultofthefollowing:
Ifthevehicleiswashedinanautomaticcarwash,waxresiduesmaybeadheringtothewindshield.Thesewaxresiduescanberemovedusingawindowcleanerconcentrate.
