Ifthecarisunlockedbyremotecontrolandnoneofthecardoorsisopenedwithinapprox.60seconds,automaticrelockingtakesplace.Thisrelockingtimecanbeadaptedtoyourindividualrequirements(10seconds-100seconds)byanauthorizedPorschedealer.
Lockingconditions
Lockcaronce.Thedoorscannotbeopenedfromtheoutside.Alarmsystemandpassen-gercompartmentmonitoringareswitchedon.
Ifapersonoranimalremainsinthevehicle:
Quicklylockcartwice.Thedoorscannotbeopenedfromtheoutside.Thepassengercompartmentmonitoringisswitchedoff.

Anypersonremaininginthelockedcarcanopenthedoorwiththeinnerdoorhandle:

Functionindication
Ifthealarmsystemisactivated,light-emittingdiodeAinthecentrallockingswitchflashes.
If,afterlocking,thelight-emittingdiodedoesnotflashor,aftertenseconds,itemitsdoubleflashes,thennotallalarmcontactsareclosed.Additionally,abriefhornsignalsounds.
Whenthedoorsareunlocked,thealarmsystemandpassengercompartmentmonitoringsystemareswitchedoffandthelight-emittingdiodegoesoff.

Enginepower
Withthefour-wheeldrive,theenginepowerisvariablydistributedtothefrontandrearwheels.Powerdistributionandwheelspeedcompensationbetweenthefrontandrearaxlesisrealisedwithaviscousmultiple-discclutch.
Distributionoftheenginepowerisdependentuponthewheelspeeddifferencebetweenthetwoaxles.Theviscousmultiple-discclutchalwaysdeliverssufficientdrivepowertothefrontwheels(approx.5%to40%)toensureoptimumtractionevenonapoorroadsurface.
IncombinationwiththePorscheStabilityManagement(PSM),four-wheeldriveimproveshandlingandincreasesdrivingstability.
