1. Disconnect BCM and back door lock assembly.
2. Check continuity between BCM connector (A) M20 terminal 68
and back door lock assembly connector (B) D405 terminal 1.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> GO TO 3.
NO >> Repair or replace harness.
3.CHECK BACK DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR GROUND CIRCUIT
Check continuity between back door lock assembly connector D405
terminal 2 and ground.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> Replace back door lock assembly.
NO >> Repair or replace harness.
4.CHECK DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR HARNESS
1. Disconnect BCM and back door lock actuator.

1.CHECK KEYFOB FUNCTION
Do doors lock and unlock when using the keyfob buttons?
YES or NO?
YES >> Keyfob is OK.
NO >> GO TO 2.
2.CHECK KEYFOB BATTERY
Check by connecting a resistance (approximately 300Ω) so that the
current value becomes about 10 mA.
Is the measurement value within specification?
YES >> Key fob battery is OK.
NO >> Replace keyfob battery.

5. When the repair work is completed, re-connect both battery cables. With the brake pedal released, turn
the push-button ignition switch from ACC position to ON position, then to LOCK position. (The steering
wheel will lock when the push-button ignition switch is turned to LOCK position.)
6. Perform self-diagnosis check of all control units using CONSULT-III.

 After removing and installing the opening/closing parts, be sure to carry out fitting adjustments to check their
operational.
 Check the lubrication level, damage, and wear of each part. If necessary, grease or replace it.

1.CHECK DOOR LOCK AND UNLOCK SWITCH INDICATOR INPUT SIGNAL
Lock and unlock the door lock system using the main power window and door lock/unlock switch.
Does the door lock system operate properly?
YES >> GO TO 2.
NO >> Repair the power door lock system. Refer to DLK-634, "
DRIVER SIDE :

2.CHECK DOOR LOCK AND UNLOCK SWITCH INDICATOR INPUT SIGNAL
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Open and keep the driver door open for the duration of this test.
3. Disconnect instrument panel warning lamp assembly.
4. Check voltage between instrument panel warning lamp assem-
bly connector M37 terminals 3 and 5.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> Replace instrument panel warning lamp.
NO >> GO TO 3.
