Push this button to choose an FM sta-

Push this button to choose either an

16PWR´VOLº knob
Push this knob to turn the audio sys-
tem on and off, and turn it to adjust the
volume. For details, see page 163.

Turning the system on and off
PWR´VOLº: Push this knob to turn the
audio system on and off. Turn this knob to
adjust the volume. The system turns on in
the last mode used.
AUDIOº: Push this button to display
touch-screen buttons for audio system
(audio control mode).
You can select the function that enables
automatic return to the previous screen
from the audio screen. See (a) Automatic
transitionº on page 156 for details.
Switching between functions
Push AM´SATº, FMº, TAPEº or
DISC´AUXº button to turn on the de-
sired mode. The selected mode turns
on immediately.
Push these buttons if you want to switch
from one mode to another.
If the tape or disc is not set, the cassette
tape player, CD changer or DVD changer
does not turn on.
You can turn off each player by ejecting the
cassette tape or disc. If the audio system
was previously off, then the entire audio
system will be turned off when you eject
the cassette tape or disc. If another func-
tion was previously playing, it will come on
again.

AUX adapter
The sound of portable audio players con-
nected to the AUX adapter can be enjoyed.
Push the DISC´AUXº button to switch to
AUX mode. For details, refer to the
Own-
er's Manualº.
Listening to the radio
Push AM´SATº or FMº to choose ei-
ther an AM or FM station.
AMº, FM1º or FM2º appears on the
screen.
If your vehicle is equipped with a satellite
radio broadcast system, when you push
the AM´SATº button, AMº, SAT1º,
SAT2º, SAT3º station appears on the dis-
play. For details about satellite radio
broadcast, see Ð Radio operation (XM
Satellite Radio broadcast)º on page 174.

3. Insert the next disc after the amber
indicators change to green and stay on
and the CD changer door opens.
4. Repeat this procedure until you in-
sert all the discs.
To cancel the operation, push the LOADº
or DISC´AUXº button.
If you do not insert the discs within 15 sec-
onds after pushing the LOADº button, the
beep will sound and the operation will be
canceled automatically.
NOTICE
Do not insert one disc stacked on top
of another one or feed them in contin-
uously, to prevent discs from getting
stuck in the changer.
Ejecting a single alone:
1. Push the º or º button of CH/
DISCº or touch the disc number button
on the screen to highlight the disc num-
ber you want to eject.
2. Push the button for the disc
briefly.
At this time, the amber indicators of the slot
start blinking and the disc is ejected.
3. After the blinking indicators stay on,
remove the disc.

Ejecting all the discs:
1. Push the button for the disc un-
til you hear a beep.
At this time, the amber indicators of the slot
start blinking and a disc is ejected.
2. After the blinking indicators stay on,
remove the disc.
The indicators start blinking again and the
next disc is ejected.
To cancel the operation, push the LOADº
or DISC´AUXº button.
If you do not remove the disc within 15 sec-
onds after it is ejected, the beep will sound
and the operation will be canceled auto-
matically.
When all the discs are removed, the indi-
cators go out.
The numbers of the trays where the disc is
not set are dimmed.

(b) Playing a disc
Push the DISC´AUXº button if the disc
are already loaded in the CD changer.
The CD CHANGERº screen will be dis-
played.
The discs set in the CD changer are played
continuously, starting with the last disc you
inserted. The disc number of the disc cur-
rently being played, the track or title and
chapter number and the time from the be-
ginning of the program are shown on the
display.
When play of one disc ends, the first track
of the following disc starts. When play of
the final disc ends, play of the first disc
starts again.
The changer will skip any empty disc trays.(c) Selecting a desired disc
On the screen:
Touch the desired disc number.
The selected disc number is highlighted.
The changer will start playing the selected
disc from the first track.
On the audio panel:
Push the 
º or º button of CH/
DISCº.
When you release the button, the changer
will start playing the selected disc from the
first track.

Playing an audio CD
Push the AUDIOº button to display
this screen.
CD text only Ð The disc title and track title
will appear on the screen when pushing
the DISC´AUXº button.
You can operate the touch-screen buttons
and choose the number of the disc you
want to play. The selected disc is automat-
ically played.
Selecting a desired track
SEEK/TRACKº button: Use for a direct
access to a desired track.
Push the 
º or º button of SEEK/
TRACKº and repeat it until the desired
track number appears on the screen. As
you release the button, the changer will
start playing the selected track from the
beginning.
TRACK LISTº: The desired track can be
selected from a list. This function is avail-
able only when the vehicle is not moving.
Touch TRACK LISTº. The track list is
displayed.
