B340E01A-AAT Headlight Flasher To flash the headlights, pull the switch lever toward you, then release it. The headlights can be flashed even thoughthe headlight switch is in the "OFF" position. B350A01A-AAT The windshield wiper switch has three positions:
(1) Intermittent wiper operation
(2) Low-speed operation
(3) High-speed operation NOTE: To prevent damage to the wiper system, do not attempt to wipe away heavy accumulations of snow or ice. Accumulated snow and iceshould be removed manually. If there is only a light layer of snowor ice, operate the heater in thedefrost mode to melt the snow or ice before using the wiper.

The outside rearview mirror heater is actuated in connection with the rearwindow defroster. To heat the outside rearview mirror glass, push in the switch for the rear window defroster. Therearview mirror glass will be heated for defrosting or defogging and will give you improved rear vision in inclementweather conditions.

B510C01A-AAT Folding the Outside Rearview Mirrors To fold the outside rearview mirrors, push them towards the rear.The outside rearview mirrors can be folded rearward for parking in narrow areas. WARNING:

The climate control air filter is located in front of the blower unit behind the glove box.It operates to decrease the amount of pollutants entering the car. To replace the climate control air filter,refer to the page 6-19. CAUTION:
o Replace the filter every 15,000 km (10,000 miles) or once a year. If the car is being driven in severe conditions such as dusty, roughroads, more frequent climate con- trol air filter inspections and changes are required.
o When the air flow rate is decreased, it must be checked at authorizeddealer.

B870A01A-GAT Fixed Rod Antenna Your car uses a fixed rod antenna to receive both AM and FM broadcast signals. This antenna is a removable type. Toremove the antenna, turn the antenna counterclockwise. To install the an- tenna, turn the antenna clockwise.

Be sure to remove the antenna be-fore washing the car in an automatic car wash or the antenna may be damaged.

By pulling up the walk in device lever (1) at the right-upper side of the driver sideseatback, the seatback will tilt forward. With the ignition key in the "ON" posi-tion, push either of the switches to warm the driver's seat or the passenger's seat.During mild weather or under condi- tions where the operation of the seat warmer is not needed, keep theswitches in the "OFF" position. o The seat warmer will not operate if

To adjust the position of either mirror:
1. Move the selecting switch to the
right or left to activate the adjustable mechanism for the corresponding door mirror.
2. Adjust mirror angle by depressing
the appropriate perimeter switch asillustrated.
CAUTION:
o Do not operate the switch con- tinuously for an unnecessarylength of time.
o Scraping ice from the mirror face
could cause permanent damage.To remove any ice, use a sponge, soft cloth or approved de-icer.
WARNING:
Be careful when judging the size ordistance of any object seen in the passenger side rearview mirror. It is a convex mirror with a curved sur-face. Any objects seen in this mirror are closer than they appear.

To adjust the field of vision, the mirror may be movedby hand upon the mounting. NOTE: The mirror should always be ad- justed prior to setting the vehicle in motion.
