1. Close all doors.
2. Push the "LOCK" button on the trans- mitter.
3. At the same time all doors lock, the turn signal lights will blink once to indicate that the system is armed.
Unlocking doors
1. Push the "UNLOCK" button on the transmitter.
2. At the same time all doors unlock,
the turn signal lights will blink twice to indicate that the system is dis- armed.
NOTE: The transmitter will not work if any of following occur:
- The ignition key is in ignition switch.
- You exceed the operating distance limit (10 m).
- The battery in the transmitter is weak. - Other vehicles or objects may be
blocking the signal.
- The weather is extremely cold.
- The transmitter is close to a radio transmitter such as a radio station or an airport which can interfere with normal operation of the trans- mitter.
When the transmitter does not workcorrectly, open and close the doorwith the ignition key. If you have a problem with the transmitter, con- tact an authorized Hyundai Dealer. NOTE: Keep the transmitter away from wa- ter or any liquid. If the keyless entry system is inoperative due to expo-sure to water or liquids, it will not be covered by your manufacturer ve- hicle warranty.
B070E03GK-GAT Replacing the battery When the transmitter's battery begins to get weak, it may take several pusheson the button to lock or unlock the doors, and the LED will not light. Re- place the battery as soon as possible. Battery type : CR2016 Replacement instructions:

B050A03GK-AAT The power windows operate only when the ignition key is in the "ON" position. The main switches are located on thedriver's arm rest and control the front windows on the respective sides of the vehicle. The windows may be openedby depressing the front portion of the switch. To stop at the desired opening, release the switch. The window may beclosed by pulling the front portion of the
switch. To open the window on the driver's side, press the switch(1) half-way down. The window moves as long as the switch is operated. To fully open the driver's window automatically, pressthe switch fully down. In automatic operation, the window will fully open even if you let go of the switch. HGK2015

2. Remove the old battery from the
case and note the polarity. Make sure the polarity of the new battery is the same (+side facing up), then insert it in the transmitter.
3. Installation is the reverse order of disassembly. Battery

NOTE: Install a new battery within 30 sec- onds after removing the old one. If installing a new battery takes morethan 30 seconds, take the following steps.
1) Turn the ignition key to the "ACC"position.
2) Make sure that the turn signal lights blink once by pushing the "LOCK" or "UNLOCK" button on the transmitter.

(3) The SRS SRI illuminates while
driving.
If this occurs, have your vehicle immediately inspected by your Hyundai dealer.
o Before you replace a fuse or dis- connect a battery terminal, turnthe ignition key to the "LOCK"position or remove the ignition key. Never remove or replace the air bag related fuse(s) when theignition key is in the "ON" posi- tion. Your Hyundai is equipped with a side impact airbag in each front seat. The purpose of the airbag is to provide the vehicle's driver and/or the front passen-ger with additional protection than that offered by the seat belt alone. The side impact airbags are designed to deployonly during certain side impact colli- sions, depending on the crash severity, angle, speed and point of impact. Theside impact airbags are not designed to deploy in all side impact situations.
!WARNING:
o The side impact airbag is supple- mental to the driver's and the passenger's seat belt systems and is not a substitute for them. There-fore your seat belts must be worn at all times while the vehicle is in motion.The airbags deploy only in certain side impact conditions severe enough to cause significant injuryto the vehicle occupants.
o For best protection from the side
impact airbag system and to avoidbeing injured by the deploying side impact airbag, both front seat occupants should sit in an uprightposition with the seat belt proper- ly fastened.

o The reset switch is used to zero the
multi-functional display mode.
o Pushing in the reset switch on the left side of tachometer changes the display as follows; 1. Distance to Empty
o This mode provides the estimated
distance to empty from the current fuel level in the fuel tank.
o The trip computer may not register additional fuel if less than 6 liters(1.36 gallons) of fuel are added to thevehicle.
o When the battery has been rein-
stalled after being discharged ordisconnected, drive more than 32km for an accurate distance to empty.

B340A01A-AAT Combination Turn Signal, Headlight and High-beamSwitchTurn Signal Operation Pulling down on the lever causes the turn signals on the left side of the car to blink. Pushing upwards on the levercauses the turn signals on the right side of the car to blink. As the turn is completed, the lever will automaticallyreturn to the center position and turn off the turn signals at the same time. If either turn signal indicator light blinksmore rapidly than usual, goes on but does not blink, or does not go on at all, there is a malfunction in the system.Check for a burned-out fuse or bulb or see your Hyundai dealer. B340B01A-AAT Lane Change Signal To indicate a lane change, move the lever up or down to a point where it begins flashing.The lever will automatically return to the center position when released.
B340C03E-AAT Headlight Switch To operate the headlights, turn the bar- rel on the end of the multi-function switch. The first position turns on theparking lights, sidelights, tail lights and instrument panel lights. The second position turns on the headlights. B460D03GK-AAT Manual Operation of Sunroof If the sunroof does not electrically op- erate:
1. Remove the cap located in the rear roof panel by using a coin or screw driver. 2. Insert the hexagonal head wrench
provided with the vehicle into the socket. This wrench can be found in the vehicle's trunk or glove box.
3. Push and turn the wrench clockwise
to close or counterclockwise to openthe sunroof.

OGK046021 B460E03GK-GAT Resetting the Sunroof System If the battery has been recharged, disconnected or if the sunroof is oper-ated with the hexagonal head wrench manually, you may need to reset the sunroof. To do this;
1. Turn the ignition switch "OFF".
2. With pressing " " "up" button at the
same time, turn the ignition switch"ON". The resetting is failed when the ignition key to the "OFF" within1.5 seconds.
3. If the sunroof is set like this, the sunroof is reset with tilting up/down automatically once for all.
CAUTION:
If the sunroof is not reset, it may not be operated properly.

1. Push the "AUTO" switch. The indi-

desired temperature.The temperature will increase to the maximum 32°C(90°F) by turning the knob clockwise.The temperature will decrease to the minimum 17°C(62°F) by turning the knob counterclockwise. NOTE: Do not hold the key in the "START" position for more than 15 seconds.
o "ON" When the key is in the "ON" position, the ignition is on and all accessories may be turned on. If the engine is notrunning, the key should not be left in the "ON" position. This will discharge the battery and may also damage theignition system.
o "ACC" With the key in the "ACC" position, some electrical accessories (radio, etc.)may be operated.
o "LOCK" The key can be removed or inserted in this position. To protect against theft, the steering wheel locks by removing the key. NOTE: If difficulty is experienced in turning the ignition key to the START posi- tion, turn the steering wheel rightand left to release the tension and then turn the key.
