Your HYUNDAI is equipped with a slid- ing sunshade which you can manually adjust to let in light with the sunroofclosed, or to block sunlight.
WARNING:
Never adjust the sunshade while driv- ing. This could result in loss of con- trol and an accident that may causedeath, serious injury, or property damage.

Auto slide open To use the auto slide feature, press the SLIDE OPEN button on the overheadconsole for more than 1 second. The sunroof will slide all the way open. To stop the sunroof sliding at any point,press any sunroof control button. Manual slide open Press the SLIDE OPEN button on the overhead console for less than 0.5 second. Manual slide close To close the sunroof, press the TILT UP button on the overhead console andhold it until the sunroof is closed.
WARNING:
Be careful that someone’s head, hands and body are not trapped by a closing sunroof.

o Do not close a sunroof if anyone's hands, arms or body are between the sliding glass and the sunroofsash, as this could result in injury.
o Do not place your head or arms
out of the sunroof opening at anytime.
o While the vehicle is moving, al-
ways keep the head, hands andother parts of the body of all occu- pants away from the roof opening. Otherwise, you could be seriouslyinjured if the vehicle stops sud- denly or if the vehicle is involved in an accident. CAUTION:
o Do not open the sunroof in se- verely cold temperature or when itis covered with ice or snow.
o Periodically remove any dirt that may have accumulated on theguide rails.
o Do not press any sunroof control button longer than necessary.Damage to the motor or systemcomponents could occur.
B460C01TG-AAT Tilting the Sunroof System Auto tilt up To use the auto tilt feature, press the TILT UP button on the overhead con-sole for more than 1 second. The sunroof will tilt all the way open. B460D01NF-GAT Manual Operation of Sunroof If the sunroof does not electrically oper- ate:
1. Open the spectacle case.
2. Remove the two mounting screws of
the front overhead console with a (+)driver. OMC025022
3. Insert the hexagonal head wrench
provided with the vehicle into the socket. This wrench can be found in the vehicle's trunk or glove box.
4. Turn the wrench clockwise to open or counterclockwise to close thesunroof. OMC025023B460E01TG-GAT Resetting the sunroof Whenever the vehicle battery is discon- nected or discharged, or you use theemergency handle to operate the sunroof, you have to reset your sunroof system as follows:
1. Turn the ignition key to the "ON"
position.
2. Press the TILT UP button for more than 1 second to tilt up the sunroof completely when the sunroof is fullyclosed. Then, release the button.
3. Press and hold the TILT UP button
once again until the sunroof hasreturned to the original position of TILT UP after it is raised a little higher than the maximum TILT UPposition. Then, release the button.
4. Press and hold the TILT UP button
within 5 seconds until the sunroof isoperated as follows; TILT DOWN SLIDE OPEN
SLIDE CLOSEThen, release the button.

The interior courtesy light switch has three positions. The three positions are: o "DOOR" In the "DOOR" position, the interior courtesy light comes on when any dooris opened regardless of the ignition key position. The light goes out gradually after 30 seconds if the door is closed.However if the ignition switch is ON or all doors are locked, interior light will turn off even within 30 seconds.

B480A01MC-GAT Map Light (If Installed) The two map light switches are located on both sides of the front overheadconsole. Push in the map light switch to turn the light on or off. This light pro- duces a spot beam for convenient useas a map light at night or as a personal light for the driver and the passenger. o "DOOR" In the "DOOR" position, the map light comes on when any door is opened regardless of the ignition key position. The light goes out gradually after 30seconds if the door is closed. However if the ignition switch is ON or all doors are locked, map light will turn off evenwithin 30 seconds.
