LOW FUEL WARNING LIGHT
54G391
This light remains on until all doors (in-
cluding the rear door) are completely
closed.
54G343
If this light comes on, fill the fuel tank im-
mediately.
NOTE The activation point of this light
varies depending on road conditions (for
example, slope or curve) and driving con-
ditions because of fuel moving in the tank. OPEN DOOR WARNING LIGHT FUEL FILTER WARNING LIGHT

WARNING LIGHT
(for Diesel Engine Model)
60A541
64J244If the light comes on when driving, there
is a possibility to have water in the fuel
filter. Drain water as soon as possible. For
details of draining water, refer to “Fuel Fil-
ter” in the “INSPECTION AND MAIN-
TENANCE” section.
IMPORTANT The presence of water in
the fuel circuit may cause serious damage
to the entire injection system and cause
irregular engine operation. If the warning
light turns on contact Fiat Dealership as
soon as possible to have the system re-
lieved. If the above indications come on
immediately after refuelling, water has
probably been poured into the tank: turn
the engine off immediately and contact Fi-
at Dealership. If the light comes on when driving, the
diesel particulate filter is nearly clogged.
To regenerate the diesel particulate filter,
we recommend that you drive the vehicle
until the light goes out, at an average speed
of 50 km/h (31 mph) for about 5 minutes.
When the regeneration of the diesel par-
ticulate filter is completed by your driving,
this warning light will go out.
For details, refer to “Diesel Particulate Fil-
ter” in the “OPERATING YOUR VEHI-
CLE” section.

Odometer/Trip meter (Indication
of illumination intensity)
When the ignition switch is turned to
“ON”, the display shows the odometer or
trip meter. The odometer records the to-
tal distance the vehicle has been driven.
The trip meter can be used to measure
the distance traveled on short trips or be-
tween fuel stops.IMPORTANT Keep track of your odome-
ter reading and check the maintenance
schedule regularly for required services.
Increased wear or damage to certain parts
can result from failure to perform re-
quired services at the proper mileage in-
tervals. 1.Speedometer

TEMPERATURE GAUGE/
OVERHEAT INDICATOR
LIGHT (for Diesel
Engine Model)
When the ignition switch is in the “ON”
position, this gauge indicates the engine
coolant temperature. Under normal dri-
ving conditions, the indicator should stay
within the normal, acceptable temperature
range between “H” and “C”. If the indi-
cator approaches “H” (or the overheat in-
dicator light (1) (if equipped) comes on),
overheating is indicated. Follow the in-
structions for engine overheating in the
“EMERGENCY SERVICE” section.
IMPORTANT Continuing to drive the ve-
hicle when engine overheating is indicat-
ed can result in severe engine damage.
FUEL GAUGE
When the ignition switch is in the “ON”
position, this gauge gives an approximate
indication of the amount of fuel in the fu-
el tank. “F” stands for full and “E” stands
for empty.
If the indicator gets off the graduation of
“E” (not character “E”), refill the tank as
soon as possible.
If the low fuel warning light (1) comes on,
fill the fuel tank immediately.
The mark (2) indicates that the fuel filler
door is located on the left side of the ve-
hicle.
NOTE The activation point of the low fu-
el warning light (1) varies depending on
road conditions (for example, slope or
curve) and driving conditions because of
fuel moving in the tank.

The display shows the instantaneous fuel
consumption when the vehicle is moving.
However, the display of instantaneous fu-
el consumption can be disappeared if you
desire.
NOTE Unless the vehicle is moving, the
display will indicate “--.-”. CLOCK AND THERMOMETER

This display can be changed to show in-
stantaneous fuel consumption or average
fuel consumption by changing the display.
Also, the display of fuel consumption can
be turned off if you desire.
When the ignition switch is turned to the
“ACC” or “ON” position:

vehicle, the display indicates “--.-”.
Unless the vehicle is moving, the display
will indicate “--.-”.
❒If you selected average fuel consump-
tion the last time you drove the vehi-
cle, the display shows the last value of
average fuel consumption. Unless you
reset the value of average fuel con-
sumption, the display will show the val-
ue of average fuel consumption which
includes average fuel consumption dur-
ing previous driving.
For details of how to reset the display,
refer to the explanation in this section.
