CHILD SEATS SECURED BY MEANS OF THE VEHICLE SEAT BELT
In conformity with Directive 2000/3, the table tells you to what extent each of the seat positions in your vehicle may take a child seat that is secured by means of the vehicle seat belt and approved as “Univer-sal” as a function of the weight of the child.
Consult “User Precautions”, chapter on “Child Safety” at the end of this handbook, in order to ensure that you are installing your child in conditions of maxi-mum safety.

U: Seat position suitable for the installation of a universal rear-facing child seat and a universal forward-facing child seat position.

TABLE SUMMARISING THE INSTALLATION OF ISOFIX CHILD SEATS
I n c o m p l i a n c e w i t h E u r o p e a n l e g i s l a t i o n ( E C E 1 6 ) , t h i s t a b l e i n d i c a t e s w h i c h of the ISOFIX child seats can be installed in seat positions in your vehicle that are equipped with ISOFIX anchoring points.
For ISOFIX universal and semi-universal child seats, the ISOFIX size class, d e fi n e d b y a l e t t e r f r o m A t o G , i s s h o w n o n t h e c h i l d s e a t t o t h e r i g h t o f t h e ISOFIX logo.
To install an ISOFIX child seat in a Pack Lounge seat po sition you have to adjust the vehicle seat as far forward as possible. On ce the ISOFIX child seat is attached, it is then possible to recline the Pack Lounge seat.

ISOFIX CHILD SEAT REC-OMMENDED
The ISOFIX child seat recom-mended for your vehicle is the RÖMER Duo ISOFIXmended for your vehicle mended . It is mar-keted by the CITROËN network.
It is equipped with a top belt and so is approved as an “ ISOFIX univer-sal” child seat, size class B1. It is essential to use the top belt.
This ISOFIX child seat can also be installed in seat positions that are not equipped with ISOFIX anchor-ing points. In this case, it is com-pulsory to secure it to the vehicle seat by means of the vehicle seat belt.

Do not exceed the maximum permitted load.
For the maximum distributed load on the roof bars: see the chapter “General”.
Recommendations:Spread the load evenly, avoiding overloading on one side.
Position the heaviest weight as low down as pos-sible.Tie the load down securely and add warning signs if it is protruding.
Drive conservatively, as the vehicle will be more vul-nerable to side winds.
The stability of your vehicle may be altered.Remove the roof rack or roof bars when you are not using them.
