Insert the socket back into the
headlight assembly. Turn it
clockwise to lock it in place.
Turn on the lights to test the new
bulb.
Put the inner f ender cover in place.
Install and lock each holding clip
bypushingonthecenter.Open the trunk.
Remove the light assembly cover
by pulling its outside edge.
Remove the socket by turning it
one-quarter turn counterclockwise,
and pull the bulb straight out of its
socket.Push a new bulb straight into the
socket until it bottoms, and
reinstall the socket into the light
assembly by turning it clockwise
until it locks.
Test the new bulb to make sure it
works.
Reinstall the light assembly cover.

Open the trunk.
Pull the lining back caref ully.Determine which of the two bulbs
is burned out: taillight or back-up
light.
To replace a bulb on the right side,
remove the trim clip. For the lef t
side, remove the two trim clips. Remove the socket by turning it
one-quarter turn counterclockwise.
Pull the bulb straight out of its
socket. Push the new bulb straight
into the socket until it bottoms.Insert the socket back into the
light assembly. Turn it clockwise
to lock it in place.
Turn on the lights to test the new
bulb.
Reinstall the trunk lid trim. Make
sure it is installed under the edge
of the trunk lid seal.
Press the trim clips back into their
holes.

Open the trunk, and remove the
socket f rom the light assembly by
turning it one-quarter turn counter-
clockwise.
Remove the burned-out bulb by
pulling it straight out of the socket.
Install the new bulb and reinstall
the socket. Make sure the new
bulb is working.Your vehicle uses halogen light
bulbs. When replacing a bulb, handle
it by its plastic case, and protect the
glass from contact with your skin or
hard objects. If you touch the glass,
clean it with denatured alcohol and a
clean cloth.
Each outside mirror has side turn
signal lights. The lights should be
replaced by your dealer.
The license plate has two lights
above it. The bulbs should be
replaced by your dealer.

Halogen bulbs get very hot when lit. Oil,
perspiration, or a scratch on the glass
can cause the bulb to overheat and
shatter.

Remove the undercover f ixing bolt
located under the f ront bumper.
Push up the undercover.Remove the electrical connector
f rom the bulb by pushing on the
tab and pulling the connector
down.
Remove the bulb f rom the f og
light assembly by turning it one-
quarter turn counterclockwise.Install the new bulb into the hole
and turn it one-quarter turn
clockwise to lock it in place.
Turn on the f og lights to test the
new bulb. Push the electrical connector back
onto the bulb. Make sure it is on
all the way.
Put the undercover in place.
Reinstall the f ixing bolt and
tighten it securely.

The floor mats that came with your
vehicle hook over f loor mat anchors.
This keeps the f loor mats f rom
sliding f orward/rearward and
possibly interf ering with the pedals
or making the f ront passenger’s
weight sensor’s inef f ective.
Dirt build-up in the loops of the seat
belt anchors can cause the belts to
retract slowly. Wipe the insides of
the loops with a clean cloth
dampened in mild soap and warm
water or isopropyl alcohol.
If your seat belts get dirty, use a sof t
brush with a mixture of mild soap
and warm water to clean them. Do
not use bleach, dye, or cleaning
solvents. Let the belts air dry bef ore

If you remove a f loor mat, make sure
tore-anchoritwhenyouputitback
in your vehicle.
If you use a non-Acura f loor mat,
make sure it f its properly and that it
canbeusedwiththefloormat
anchor. Do not put additional f loor
mats on top of the anchored mat.
Make sure the rear f loor mats are
properly hooked to the f loor mat
anchors. Your vehicle is equipped
with f ront passenger’s seat weight
sensors. If the rear passenger’s f loor
mat is on the seat rail of the front
passenger’s seat, the sensors will
detect the decreased weight on the
seat, and they may not work properly. This f ilter removes the dust and
pollenthatisbroughtinfromthe
outside through the climate control
system.
Have your dealer replace the filter
when this service is indicated by a
maintenance message on the multi-
inf ormation display. It should be
replaced every 15,000 miles (24,000
km) if you drive primarily in urban
areas that have high concentrations
of soot in the air, or if the f low f rom
theclimatecontrolsystembecomes

Check the condition of the wiper
blades at least every six months.
Look f or signs of cracking in the
rubber, or areas that are getting
hard. Replace the blades if you f ind
these signs, or if they leave streaks
and unwiped areas when used.To replace a wiper blade: Disconnect the blade assembly
from the wiper arm: Press and hold the lock tab.

When replacing a wiper blade,
make sure not to drop the wiper
blade or wiper arm down on the
windshield.
Raise each wiper arm of f the
windshield, lif ting the driver’s side

arms are raised, or you will damage the

Examine the new wiper blades. If
they have no plastic or metal
reinf orcement along the back
edge, remove the metal
reinf orcement strips f rom the old
wiper blade, and install them in
the slots along the edge of the new
blade.
Remove the blade from the blade
assembly:

labeled ‘‘LOCK.’’ This is the side
you pull out.
Pull back the end of the blade
assembly on the ‘‘LOCK’’ side of
theblade.Thengrabtheendof
the blade, and slide it out. Install the new blade onto the
blade assembly:
Pull back either end of the blade
assembly.
Place the side of the blade not
labeled‘‘LOCK’’ontheendof
the blade assembly, and slide
the blade onto the assembly
until it is f ully installed.
Slide the wiper blade assembly
onto the wiper arm. Make sure it
locks in place.
Make sure the blade is completely
installed and that its edge is not
bunched up.
Lower the wiper arm down against
the windshield, the passenger’s
side first, then the driver’s side.
