function. Locking the vehicle with full
alarm
D o n o t m a k e a n y m o d i i c a t i o n s t o
the alarm system, this could cause
malfunctions. In order to be taken into account,
t h i s d e a c t i v a t i o n m u s t b e c a r -
ried out each time the ignition is
s w i t c h e d o f f .
I n t h e " c a b r i o l e t " c o n i g u r a t i o n , t h e
i n t e r i o r p r o t e c t i o n i s d e a c t i v a t e d
automatically.
Reactivation of the interior
protection
U n l o c k t h e v e h i c l e u s i n g t h e u n l o c k -
ing button on the remote control.
Relock the vehicle using the remote
control.

Activation

control.

Exterior protection
T h e s y s t e m d e t e c t s o p e n i n g o f t h e
vehicle.
The alarm is triggered if anyone tries to
enter the vehicle by forcing a door, the
boot or the bonnet.
Interior protection
The system detects any variation in the
v o l u m e i n t h e p a s s e n g e r c o m p a r t m e n t .
The alarm is triggered if anyone breaks
a w i n d o w o r m o v e s i n s i d e t h e v e h i c l e .
I f y o u w i s h t o l e a v e a p e t i n t h e v e h i c l e
o r a w i n d o w p a r t i a l l y o p e n , d e a c t i v a t e
t h e i n t e r i o r p r o t e c t i o n .
Anti-tamper function
T h e s y s t e m d e t e c t s t h e p u t t i n g o u t o f
s e r v i c e o f i t s c o m p o n e n t s .
The alarm is triggered if anyone tries
t o p u t t h e w i r e s o f t h e s i r e n , t h e c e n t r a l
control or the battery out of service.
Deactivation
U n l o c k t h e v e h i c l e u s i n g t h e u n l o c k -
ing button on the remote control.

Triggering
T h i s i s i n d i c a t e d b y s o u n d i n g o f t h e s i -
r e n a n d l a s h i n g o f t h e d i r e c t i o n i n d i c a -
t o r s f o r a p p r o x i m a t e l y t h i r t y s e c o n d s .
After it has been triggered, the alarm is
a g a i n o p e r a t i o n a l . If the alarm is triggered ten times in
s u c c e s s i o n , t h e e l e v e n t h t i m e w i l l
result in it becoming inactive.
If the indicator light on button A
l a s h e s r a p i d l y , t h i s i n d i c a t e s t h a t
t h e a l a r m w a s t r i g g e r e d d u r i n g
your absence. When the ignition is
s w i t c h e d o n , t h i s l a s h i n g s t o p s i m -
mediately.
T o a v o i d t r i g g e r i n g t h e a l a r m w h e n
w a s h i n g y o u r v e h i c l e , l o c k i t u s i n g
the key.
Do not activate the alarm before
d i s c o n n e c t i n g t h e b a t t e r y , o t h e r -
w i s e t h e s i r e n w i l l s o u n d . Failure of the remote control
Unlock the vehicle using the key in
the driver's door lock.
O p e n t h e d o o r ; t h e a l a r m i s t r i g g e r e d.
S w i t c h o n t h e i g n i t i o n ; t h e a l a r m
s t o p s .
Malfunction
W h e n t h e i g n i t i o n i s s w i t c h e d o n , l i g h t -
ing of the indicator light on button A for
ten seconds indicates a siren fault.
Contact a PEUGEOT dealer as soon as
p o s s i b l e .
Locking the vehicle without
alarm
Lock or deadlock the vehicle using
the key in the driver's door lock. Automatic operation *
D e p e n d i n g o n t h e l e g i s l a t i o n i n f o r c e i n
your country, one of these cases may
o c c u r :
- 4 5 s e c o n d s a f t e r t h e v e h i c l e i s
locked using the remote control, the
alarm is activated, regardless of the
status of the doors and boot.
-
2 minutes after the last door or the boot is closed, the alarm is activated.
To avoid triggering the alarm on
e n t e r i n g t h e v e h i c l e , i r s t p r e s s t h e
unlocking button on the remote
control.
