With the ignition switch in the ON
(II) position, press the INFO button
f or more than 3 seconds, then
release it. The CUSTOMIZE ENTRY
screen appears on the multi-
inf ormation display.
Select CHG SETTING, and press the
SEL/RESET button. Select DOOR/WINDOW SET UP,
and press the SEL/RESET button.

If you unlock the doors by pressing
the button on the remote, you can
select whether the driver’s door
unlocks or all the doors unlock.
Select the desired mode by pressing
the or button, and enter your
selection by pressing the SEL/
RESET button.
The conf irmation screen is shown
f or 2 seconds, then the CUSTOMIZE
ENTRY screen returns. To exit this mode without changing
the current settings, select EXIT,
and press the SEL/RESET button.
When you press the LOCK button
on the remote a second time within 5
seconds after you lock the doors, the
hood, and the trunk with the remote,
a beeper will sound and the exterior
lights will blink once to verif y that
the doors are locked and the security
system is ready.

If your vehicle’s battery goes dead or
is disconnected, you can open the
trunk f rom the rear seat by pulling
the trunk release handle. Reach the
handle through the trunk pass-
through.
Keep the trunk lid closed at all times
while driving to avoid damaging the
lid, and to prevent exhaust gas f rom
getting into the interior. Seeon page .
Press and hold the trunk release
button on the remote.

Your vehicle has the Keyless Access
System. When you carry the remote
with you, you can lock/unlock the
door(s), unlock the trunk, and start
the engine without using the built-in
key.
The system may not work if:Thebatteryof theremoteisweak.
You carry a cell phone, a laptop
computer, or other electrical
device near the remote. There is strong electrical current
nearby.
The remote is covered by metal.
A vehicle is being operated with a
transmitter nearby.
When the remote battery is dead. Protect the remote and the built-in
key f rom direct sunlight, high
temperature, and high humidity.
Always keep the remote and the
built-in key away from any magnetic
material.
Youshouldhavereceivedakey
number tag with your built-in key.
You will need this key number if you
ever have to get a lost key replaced.
UseonlyAcura-approvedkeyblanks.
When the vehicle battery is dead.
Make sure the driver always carries
the remote/built-in key set. Do not drop the remote or the
built-in key, and do not set heavy
objects on them.
The built-in keys do not contain

sensor. That sensor works with the
remote so you can automatically
unlock/lock the door(s).If you do not open any of the doors
within 30 seconds, they will
automatically relock.
The unlock sensors do not operate
when:

MODE’’ setting, see page . If a remote is within operating range

it is raining heavily, the door sensors

cannot set the security system
because the trunk or hood is open,
no exterior light blinks and/or no
