9. The anti starting indicator blinks rapidly.
10. Take off the contact. In t he menu “COMMAND MODE” select “ACTUATORS” and
validate “ FINISHED CALIBRATION” launching the command on the blue rectangle situated
on the right top of the screen. The message “COMMAND IN PROGRESS” will appear,
followed by “ FINISHED COMMAND”. 11 . The anti starting indicator will blink rarely.
12. Get back to the “ STAT E LIST”, which now must be as follows: 18G FIRST CYCLE MEMORISING……………………………... ACTIVE

D. SIMPLE S
YNCHRONISED PROCEDURE
This procedure allows the synchronisation of a RF remote control with E.C.U. decoder and
is to be applied in the following situations:
- the RF remote control c ode is no longer i n the range of the E.C.U. decoder re ception,
because of consecutive pushing over a 1000 time on the RF remote control button.;
- the replacement of the E.C.U. decoder with a new one;
- the replacement of the RF remote control if the E.C.U. decoder is new (E.C.U. decoder
replacement plus a RF key.)
The following operations will be performed: - take off t he contact
- push and maintain like that for about 5 seconds, the doors locking switch located on the
dashboard ; the doors actuators are performing a closing/opening course.
- during the next 10 seconds, confirmed by the permanent lightening of the anti starting
system indicator, push twice the RF remote control button; the doors actuators are performing a
closing/o pening course.
- the procedure of synchronisation is finished; check the blocking/ unlocking by pushing
the RF remote control.
OBSERVAT ION
Duri ng those 10 seconds you can visualise by means of the CLIP tester the state 17G
“THE PROGRAMMING IN PROGRESS OR THE TIR/TRF
RESYNCHRONISATION” which must be ACTIVE.
E. SPECIFIC SYNCHRONISED PROCEDURE
This procedure is used for the synchronisation of the second RF key with E .C.U. decoder
and will be performed as follows:
- connect the CLIP tester to the diagnostic socket and the battery (or the lighter socket) of
the vehicle. - select the vehicle type “SUPERNOVA” and the “050” equipping level;
- select the m enu “ COMPUTERS TEST” then “ ANTI STARTING”
- enter the m enu “COMMAND MODE” and select “CONFIGURATION”
- validate the command “ PROGRAMMI NG THE SECOND TIR / TRF KEY” launching
the command from the blue button situated on the right top of the screen; the doors actuators are
performing a closing/opening course.
- during the next 10 seconds, confirmed by the permanent lightening of the anti starting
system, push twice the RF remote control button; the doors will block and then unlock and the
anti starting indicator will t urn off. The second remote control is now synchronised. Check the
blocking/ unlocking by pushing the RF remote control. PROCEDURES

D)
Memorising of the new code of the injection computer
- in ACTUATORS
launch the command MANUAL INTRODUCTION CODE ; type
the repairing code of the old key kit, then validate it with the key
ENTER.
- the message “COMMAND IN PROGRESS ” will be displayed followed by the message
“FINISHED COMMAND ”.
-s et the contact on; t he anti starting LED indicator will start blinking, then take off the
contact;
-set the c ontact on for 10 seconds ; take off the contact;
- check if the engine starts with the two keys.
If the engine doesn’t start, repeat this operation (point D).
E) Key resynchronisation (remote controls)
-if the vehicle is equipped with only one remote control, its resynchronisation will be
performed as follows (simple resynchronisation);
- with t he contact taken off, push continuously on the c entra l l ocking but ton from the
dashboard, up to the moment the anti starting LED indicator remains lighted (the doors actuators
are performing a closing/opening course.) From this moment, t he operator has 10 seconds to
perform the next operation; - push twice on the remote control (the doors actuators are performing a closing/opening
course.) and the anti starting LED indicator turns off; - if the vehicle is equipped with two remotes controls, perform the simple resynchronisatio n
procedure for the first key and a specific resynchronisation procedure for the second key, with
the CLIP tester as follows: - in COMPUTER TEST select ANTISTARTING with t he c ontact t aken off, then
COMMAND MODE , CONFIGURATION ; launch the command PROGRAMMING OF
THE SECOND TIR/TIE KEY and validate (the doors actuators are performing a closing/
opening course.). Then within 10 seconds, push twice on the remote control (the doors actuators
are performing a closing/o pening course).DIAGNOSTIC

to the ground, between t he pin A 5 of the
E.C.U. decoder and the dashboard.
Is the wiring good?
Replace the fuse.
Analyse this failure and replace.
Fix the wiring.
Perform the following tests in order to find the
failure element:
- if the anti starting indicator is permanently
lighted, disconnect the connector of the E.C.U.
decoder and check if the indicator switches off;
- if the anti starting system is turned off,
c onnect the pin A5 of the wiring connector from
the E.C.U. decoder to an electric ground and
check if the indicator turns on.
Are the answers affirmatives?
Replace the instrument panel.
Replace the E .C.U. decoder.

Vo l u m etric protection checking.
Perform the following checking steps after locking using the RF remote control, the doors, the
engine hood and the hatchback. The operations must be performed in no more than 40 seconds
since the anti i ntrusion system has been activated with the RF remote control; if operating after
these 40 seconds, the siren will start and the turning lights will blink.
Close the door. The sound signal (buzzer)
will stop.
Th e pr oper operation of the anti intrusion system on different situations must be according to
those shown in Table 01. For detecting the causes of possible incidents of the anti intrusion system, perform the checking
steps presented in Table 02.
Lo wer the rear windows with about 10
cm. Close the doors, the engine hood
and the ha tchback.
Check out if there is any movement in
the cockpit.
Ac tivate the system pressing the button
of the RF remote control.
In troduce a hand through the window,
inside the cockpit and move it.
Th e LED indicator will blink quickly,
showing there has been a volumetric
detection and that volumetric sensors are
f unctioning correctly.
Deac tivate the system using the RF
remote contro l, then clos e al l the
vehicle windows.
Reactivate the system and then hit by
ha nd the windows surfa c e of the
vehicle. The LED indicator should
continue to normally blink and the siren
starting shall not occur.
Functional checking of the peripheral
protection.
Close the doors, the engine hood and the
hatchback.
Ac tivate the system pressing the button
of th e RF remote.
The doors will lock and the LED indicator
will blink.
Open a do or with the vehicle key.
The LED indicator will continuously be on,
a nd a sound signal (buzzer) will be heard.
