Thecapacity(Amperehours,Ah)ofthebooster
batterymustnotbesubstantiallylessthanthat
ofthedischargedbattery.
Thedischargedbatterymustbecorrectlycon-
nectedtothevehicle'selectricalsystem.

quence:
1.Checkelectrolytelevelofeach
cell.If
necessary,fillwithdistilledwatertojust
aboveplates.
2.Onavehiclewithadischargedbattery:turn
offallconsumersandaccessories,movethe
gearshiftleverintotheneutralpositionand
settheparkingbrake.
3.Openthecapofthepositiveterminalfor
jumpstarting

8.Withtheenginerunning,disconnectbothjum-
percablesinreverseorder.
