For driving safely, and in order to obtain the
maximum useful life of the tires, the following points should be observed. For informationconcerning inspection, air pressure, and rota-tion of the tires, refer to the part which dealswith wheels in the section of this manual en-titled "Consumer Information".

The air pressure of the tires must always be
maintained in accordance with the specifica-tions, and should be measured when the tiresare cool.
If any changes in driving conditions(speed and/
or load weight) occur, the air pressure of thetires must meet the specifications which applyto the new driving conditions. If the vehicle isgoing to be driven under varying load weight,etc., the air pressure must be adjusted in orderto meet the highest specifications of the condi-tions under which the vehicle is driven (highspeeds and maximum load weight).

Storage of the tires should be in a dark, well-
ventilated place.
Tires not mounted on rims should be stored
vertically. Be sure that the tires are not incontact with fuel, oil grease, etc.
