3 This provides two types of protection: Ðexterior protection: it sounds if a
door, the boot or the bonnet is opened.
Ð interior protection: it sounds if
the volume inside the passengercompartment changes (breaking ofa window or a movement insidethe vehicle).

Set the alarm, by locking ordeadlocking using the remotecontrol (button indicator light
flashes once per second).
/ if you wish to lock your vehicle
without setting the alarm, use thedoor lock. When the alarm is triggered, thesiren sounds and the direction indi-cator lights flash for thirty seconds. After triggering, the alarm remains set.

triggered ten times in succession, on the eleventh time it becomesinactive. / if button indicator light flash-

3 The side lights and dipped beam headlamps switch on automatically ifthe light is poor and when the wind-
screen wipers operate continuously.
They switch off when the light becomes bright enough or the wind-
screen wipers are switched off. This function is active when the vehi-
cle is supplied to the customer.
To disarm or activate the function: – Place the key in the accessoriesposition (1st notch),
– Press the end of the lights stalk for more than four seconds.
/ In foggy weather or in snow,
the brightness sensor can detect suf-
ficient light. As a result, the lights will
not come on automatically.
