The clutch should be pressed all the way to the floor before shifting, then released slowly. Theclutch pedal should be always used after fullyreturning to the original position. Do not restyour foot on the clutch pedal while driving. Thiscan cause unnecessary wear. Do not partiallyengage the clutch to hold the car on an incline.This causes unnecessary wear.
