"Map preferences"
from the main menu, by pressing the knob, you will gain access to a newpage with the following sub-menu:

Map preferences
"Map drawing" function This enables you to choose the
direction of the map on the display. The options available are
"Directed
north" and "Directed automatically" .
To validate the option, select "OK".
"Intersection zoom" functionThis enables you to activate or deac- tivate the map enlargement functionwhen the vehcile approaches anintersection.
To validate the option, select "OK".
"Icons drawing" functionThis enables you to activate or deac- tivate the representation on the map,by means of icons, of the selectedcentres of interest (hotels, servicestations, restaurants).
To validate the option, select "OK".
"Captions drawing" functionThis enables you to activate or deac- tivate the representation of townnames on the map.
To validate the option, select "OK".
"RDS TMC drawing" function This function enables you to activa- te or deactivate the representationon the map, by means of icons, of
the categories of RDS TMC events
("NO", "Traffic", "Weather", "Info").
To validate the option, select "OK".
"Zones drawing" functionThis enables you to access the map representation options. The options available are: ☞ NO (representation with seg-
ments of road, rivers, ...)
☞ 2D (representation with seg-
ments and coloured polygons)
☞ 3D (three-dimensional repre-

The closing control of one of the front doors permits complete locking ofthe vehicle. To unlock and open, lift button Aand
pull the handle towards you. The opening control of one of the front doors permits complete unloc-king of the vehicle. Sliding side door The side door opening/closing control only controls the door concer-ned. Side door child lock This prevents opening of the side door from the inside. ☞ Turn the control a quarter turn
using the ignition key.
Note: the sliding side door can be
secured in the fully open position. To release it, pull the handle towards
you and slide the door.

REAR DOORS Opening the doors from outside
To
open, pull the rear right door
handle towards you and open the rear left door by pulling the lever onthe inside. Opening the doors from inside The rear door opening controls only unlock the door concerned. Locking / Unlocking from inside
To
lock, lower button A.
The rear door closing controla only lock the door concerned.
To unlock and open, lift button Aand pull the handle towards you.
To open the other door, push lever B.
Note: when closing from the inside, close the right-hand door first ensuring that
lever Bis in the vertical position then close the left-hand door.

Opening the rear doors to 180° / 270°
To open the rear doors to 180¡, release the check strap Ctowards you when the door is partially open.
When closing the door, the check strap hooks itself in place again automatically. Note: when opening to 270¡, a magnet retains the door in the open position.

THE LIGHTS STALK Front and rear lights Selection is by turning the ring.
Lights off Side lights Dipped headlamps
Main beam head- lamps Dipped / Main beam change Push the stalk forwards to switch on the main beam headlamps. Pull the stalk towards you to switch
them off. Note:
with the ignition off, when the
driver's door is opened, a buzzer sounds if you have left your lights on. Front fog lamps Press the button in the centre of the
instrument panel. The warning lighton the button comes on. The front fog lamps operate with the dipped and main beam headlamps. Direction indicators (flashers)
Left: downwards.
Right: upwards.
Rear fog lamps Press the button in the centre of the
instrument panel. The warning lighton the button comes on. The rear fog lamps operate with the dipped and main beam headlamps.
In good or rainy weather, both day and night, therear fog lamps are dazz-ling and are prohibited. Do not forget to switch the
fog lamps off when they are no lon- ger needed.
