way. Driving at high speeds lowers fuel
economy.
OAvoid unnecessary stopping and brak-
ing. Maintain a safe distance behind
other vehicles.
OUse a proper gear range which suits road
conditions. On level roads, shift into high
gear as soon as possible.
OAvoid unnecessary engine idling.OKeep your engine tuned up.
OFollow the recommended periodic main-
tenance schedule.
OKeep the tires inflated to the correct
pressure. Low tire pressure increases
tire wear and wastes fuel.
OKeep the front wheels in correct align-

economy. Use the air conditioner only
