Rear seat radio controls are standard equipment on all models
with an overhead console.

The rear seat radio controls are located at the rear of the
overhead console and the headphone jack is behind the driver
on the left side of the vehicle. These controls duplicate several
radio functions of the radio and allow the use of headphones in
the vehicle.

How to turn the rear seat radio controls on and off

Press memory preset buttons ª1º and ª3º simultaneously on the
face of your radio to turn the rear seat radio controls on. A
headphones symbol (j) will appear in the display when the
rear seat controls are on. Press ª1º and ª3º simultaneously
again to turn rear seat radio controls off.

increase volume, and push the left (-) side to decrease the
volume of the rear speakers.

The headlamps can be adjusted to turn on earlier or later in the
day according to the amount of outside light reaching the
sensor inside the mirror. To turn the headlamps on using
Autolamp, perform the following procedure.
[CF28001(ALL)10/96]1.
Turn the ignition switch to the ON position and place the
Autolamp slide knob to OFF.
[CF28011(ALL)10/96]2.
Press and hold the MODE switch throughout the procedure.
The MODE switch is located in a hole on the bottom left
side of the mirror. It can be accessed with a paper clip or
similar object.
[CF28021(ALL)10/96]3.
Slowly slide the Autolamp slide knob to the right until the
headlamps turn on. To have the headlamps turn on earlier,
go to step 4. To have the headlamps turn on later, go to step
5.

Slowly slide the Autolamp slide knob to the left until the
headlamps turn off. Go to step 6.
[CF28041(ALL)10/96]5.
Slowly slide the Autolamp slide knob to the right until the
headlamps turn off. Go to step 6.

Release the MODE switch. The new setting will be stored in
permanent memory. If further change is required, you must
repeat the procedure from the beginning.

Front Dome Lamp

Front dome lamp, rear cargo and second row reading lamp may
be turned on and off using the dimmer switch.
[CF28900(ALL)09/96]
The front dome lamp is located in the overhead console
between the driver and front passenger seats.
