Tachometer
Indicates the engine speed in
revolutions per minute.
Charging system gauge
This gauge shows the battery
voltage when the ignition key is in
the ON position. If the pointer
moves and stays outside of the
normal range, have the vehicle's
electrical system checked as soon
as safely possible.
Fuel gauge
The fuel gauge displays the
approximate level of usable fuel
left in the fuel reservoir.

Replacement batteries for the
remote entry and/or anti-theft
system transmitters mat be
purchased at pharmacies, watch
stores or at authorized dealers.
To replace the batteries:
1. Twist a thin coin between the
two halves of the transmitter. DO
NOT TAKE THE FRONT PART OF
THE TRANSMITTER APART.
2. Place the positive (+ ) side of
new batteries down.
3. Snap the two halves back
together.
Replacing lost transmitters
Take all your vehicle's transmitters
to your dealer for reprogramming
if:
²a transmitter is lost or
²you want to purchase additional
transmitters (up to four may be
programmed).

Working with the engine off
²Automatic transmission:
1. Set the parking brake fully and
ensure the gearshift is securely
latched in P (Park).
2. Turn off the engine and remove
the key.
3. Block the wheels to prevent the
vehicle from moving unexpectedly.
