When the ignition switch is turned to the ON
position, the anti-lock brake system warning
light will come on. When the engine is started,
the anti-lock brake system control unit will

[LG02780(ALL)05/95]
RWARNING
If the anti-lock brake system warning
light remains on or comes on while
driving, have the braking system checked
by a qualified service technician as soon
as possible.
*
[LG02785(ALL)06/95]
NOTE: If a fault occurs in the anti-lock
system, and the brake warning light is
not lit, the anti-lock system is disabled
but normal brake function remains
operational.
*
[LG02790(ALL)09/93]
NOTE: If your vehicle must be jump-started
because of a low battery, the anti-lock
brake system warning light could
remain on. This is due to low battery
voltage and does not indicate a
malfunction in the system. Under these
circumstances, you should drive your
vehicle only after the battery has had
time to charge and the light has gone
out.

Power Door Locks (If equipped)
[FV02500(ALL)01/94]
If your vehicle has power door locks, the
controls to lock the doors are below the inside
door handles on each door. When you close the
doors after you set the door locks, the doors
remain locked. If the power mechanism ever
fails, the manual door locks will override the
power controls.
[FV02550(ALL)02/92]
NOTE: Vehicles equipped with power locks
have a safety feature which allows you
to unlock one or both front doors from
either door key lock cylinder. To
unlock the driver's or passenger door
only, insert the key in the door lock
cylinder and turn to the left
(counterclockwise) to the first position.
To unlock the other door at the same
time, simply continue turning the key
to the left to the second position. Both
doors are locked by turning the key to
the right (clockwise).
