Avoid smoking when you select air recircula­
tion. Smoke drawn in leave depos its on
the evaporator. This results in permanent
odors whenever you switc h on the air condi ­
tioner. This can be eliminated only by ex­
changing the evaporator which is time con­
suming and expensive.
